AP统计难度很大吗？再长的题也有办法迅速读懂

AP统计难度主要在于题目一般都很长，还有字数很多的简答题，毫无一个理科科目该有的自觉。本文就来结合具体题目和大家分享一下这2个难点的解决办法，迅速拉近你与5分的距离。

AP统计学考试形式

AP统计考试的题型分为Multiple Choice选择题和Free Response简答题两部分，考试时间各为90分钟，

其中Multiple Choice部分会包含40道选择题，统计考试与其他理科不同，题干的阅读量很大，因此平均2.25分钟完成一道选择题时间较为紧张，考试时要注意控制做题速度。

Free Response分为5道普通题以及一道Investigative Task探究问题共6题，其中前5道的建议完成时间为60分钟，Investigative Task则建议留30分钟来完成，要求解答要有完整的文字论述，因此对于学员英语写作能力的高要求也是AP统计难度之一。

难度1：题目太长来不及读

我们先来看一道题——

A survey was administered to parents of high school students in a certain state to see if the parents thought the students academic needs were being met. To select the sample, the parents were divided into two groups- -one group of parents who live in cities with populations of more than 1 00,000 and the other group of parents who live in cities with populations less than or equal to 100,000. A random sample of 100 parents from each group was taken. Which of the following statements about the sample of 200 parents is true?
(A) It is a convenience sample because the sample of parents was easilyobtained.
(B) It is a stratified random sample because parents were randomly selected from each group.
(C) It is a random cluster sample because parents were randomly selected from each group.
(D) It is a random cluster sample because groups of high schools were randomly selected.
(E) It is a systematic sample because the parents were systematically divided into two groups.

其实当我们仔细看看题目会发现，这题无非是考sampling的类型的概念题。当我们过滤背景单词，找出关键词如下：

题目关键词符合分层随机抽样（stratified random sampling）特点，那么答案B九选出来啦。

AP统计难度2：对写作要求高

在统计的free-response question当中，往往包含需要我们独立设计一个完整的假设检验的大题，写完这题仿佛写完了一篇大作文，比如：

A researcher conducted a medical study to investigate whether taking a low-dose aspirin reduces the chance of developing colon cancer. As part of the study, 1 ,000 adult volunteers were randomly assigned to one of two groups. Half of the volunteers were assigned to the experimental group that took a low-dose aspirin each day, and the other half were assigned to the control group that took a placebo each day. At the end of six years, 15 of the people who took the low-dose aspirin had developed colon cancer and 26 of the people who took the placebo had developed colon cancer. At the significance level a=0.05, do the data provide convincing statistical evidence that taking a low-dose aspirin each day would reduce the chance of developing colon cancer among all people similar to the volunteers?

此题的目的是为了检验服用低剂量的阿司匹林能否降低大肠癌的几率，我们对比的是分别服用低剂量阿司匹林以及安慰剂的两组人中降低患大肠癌的几率，所以可以取两个proportion的差值进行检验。
