-chiefly a matter of research
-of finding information
exploring for topics
-what happened? how other people said about it?
-why? what caused it? what were the reasons?
-when? (并非是时间的概念,而是表示对一种事件的类似条件)
-how? what examples are there?
-how can the subject be defined?
-what limits?
-what is it similar to?
-what is it different from?
-has it advantages or virtues?
-has it disadvantages or defects?
Essay organization的写作体现在以下部分:
Beginning
重点:by implication announcement not explict announcement.
-definition or delayed announcement
-supporting background information or ing examples(limiting the subject by implying the boundaries,不要points)
-indicating the plan subtly(可以采用波折号+Especially in+短语ing)
-interesting the reader
可以通过强调subject的importance
例如:There is no... that has so... 双否定表肯定这类型的句型,可以通过arousing curiosity
例如:It is a pity ture...
Organizing the middle
-可以用连词signposts,要consistently
-可以summarizing transition
例如:If... (sums up preceding paragraph),but/and/while...(introducing the new topic)
Closing
-judgement with evaluation
-subtly,简单句或者短句总结
例如:Summing Up(可以没有),This has been... ,I have found it.
注意:Implicating closing 是最好的,In effect the final sentence open a door instead of closing one.
