主题：

虎鲸是大型食肉鲸，大多数虎鲸是黑色的，有些是白色的。然而，最近几年，在北太平洋发现了一只不寻常的、几乎完全是白色的鲸鱼。2000年，在阿拉斯加附近，2010年在俄罗斯海岸附近又发现了一只被科学家昵称为“冰山”的白色虎鲸。

阅读：这是2条不同的鲸鱼

虽然两张照片看上去都是浅色的鲸鱼，但是在阿拉斯加的那一条明显颜色更深。视觉发现点实在是太远了，一条是在阿拉斯加附近，另外一条是在俄罗斯附近两个地点，相隔1500多公里。这种鲸鱼往往不会走这么远。年龄不一样，通过测量背鳍判断年龄

这种鲸鱼的颜色会因为季节而产生差异。因为这种鲸鱼的皮肤表面有藻类，藻类的生长会使白色的皮肤看起来特别黑，而且阿拉斯加和俄罗斯的两条鲸鱼看到的时候是不同的季节，有可能是因为藻类的多少而使得颜色有差别，因此他们有可能是同一条。

• 对比冰山的颜色，颜色不同

• 发现它们的地方距离很远，Iceberg远离陆地，Alaskan orca距离陆地很近，从不迁徙到远离陆地的地方

• 虎鲸可以分为mama hunting和fish hunting，Iceberg属于fish hunting，所以会迁徙

• 背鳍到一定年龄就不长了，根据这个来判断年龄不准确

Many students starting university must choose a major (main field of study at university), and parents of these students often give them advice about which major to choose. Some parents tell students to choose the major that most interests the students. Other parents tell students that it is best to choose a major that will lead to a job with a high salary, even if that major may not be the one that most interests the students.

TS1: For students coming from families who are struggling with living comfortably, they should choose a major that helps get jobs.

TS2: Selecting a career-based major increases learners’ chances of finding employment.
