ALEVEL物理考核形式

AS的时候物理需要考Paper1、2、3，A2的时候需要考Paper 4、5。Paper 1是选择题，Paper2、4是大题，Paper 3、5是实验题。相对来说，paper2比较困难，因为题目的灵活性比较强，而且需要背的定义概念比较多

ALEVEL物理考试重要术语概念

1. Progressive waves: waves that transfer energy
2. Displacement: the distance of a point on the wave from its undisturbed position or equilibrium
position
3. Amplitude: the maximum displacement of any point on the wave from its undisturbed position
4. Wavelength: the distance from any point on a wave to the next exactly similar point (e.g. crest
to crest)
Period: the time taken for one complete oscillation of a point in a wave Frequency: the number of oscillations per unit time of a point in a wave Mechanical waves: waves it they need a medium through which to travel
Longitudinal wave: the particles of the medium vibrate parallel to the direction of the wave velocity
Transverse wave: the particles of the medium vibrate at right angles to the direetion of the
velocity
10. Intensity: rate of energy transmitted per unit area at right angles to the wave velocity11. Wave speed: the speed with which energy is transmitted by a wave
12. Doppler effect: the change in frequeney of a wave observed when the source f the wawt is
moving towards or away from the observer
