Today, NAS Beijing welcomed the first batch of children back to school. Our sixth, seventh, eighth and tenth graders have returned to the beautiful campus. The school prepared gifts for the children to return to school and children's day.

Facing the morning sun, the school bus arrived at the school gate. The children are finally back at their long-awaited school.

The Chinese principal, Tie Yan, greeted each child at the school gate early in the morning and presented the gifts prepared by the school one by one.

The first day back to school, after careful preparation by the teacher, and in the case of meeting the requirements of epidemic prevention, students presented a safe and clean new campus environment. At the same time, in order to let the students feel the warmth of the school and the children's day happy, the teacher organized a lot of vivid and interesting activities!

The first part of the first homecoming lesson is the flag-raising ceremony. The online flag-raising ceremony was presided over by Mr. Wu, dean of student affairs, and delivered by representatives of outstanding teachers and students. Liu, a student of grade 8, said that she was very happy to return to school and would work harder in the following study. Ma hopes that every student can adapt to the environment, dare to try, perseverance.

During the period of studying at home, the school organized an exhibition called " The Artistic Heart in NAS". we have shown students' works in previous articles, and I believe everyone still remembers their works. On the first day of class, we gave awards for the competition to encourage the students to develop in various aspects.

Sorting activities

The four words “Nuo” “De” “An” “Da” represent honesty, integrity, serenity and fortitude. At the same time, it also represents our unique college system and value system. We will assign colleges to students according to their personalities and other characteristics, and let them participate in school and group activities on behalf of their colleges.

On the first day of returning, we gave the students the choice of the college and did a series of activities according to it.

The Epidemic Prevention Drill

Although the school has organized all the staff to carry out epidemic prevention drills before the  returning, the epidemic prevention work needs to be more elaborate after the students’ arrival. And the students' understanding of epidemic prevention is even more important. On the first day of school, we organized an epidemic prevention exercise with teachers and students.

NAS Beijing always puts the health and safety of students and teachers first. Today, when the epidemic situation is normalized, we welcomed our lovely students back to school safely. In the coming days, the school will organize sorting activities, STEAM projects, global campus challenges, new ECA courses and other various activities. We hope everyone can participate actively and study hard to achieve good results with happiness.
