南通诺德安达学校总容量1728名学生, 可以为一半有需要的孩子提供舒适、安全、规律住宿环境。现在我们有小学、初中和高中三个学段。

Nord Anglia School Nantong has a full capacity of 1,728 students, and half of the students can live in the comfortable, safe accommodation residence on campus, with a well-balanced itinerary managed by the school. We now have 231 students in three stages: elementary, secondary, and high school.
Nord Anglia School Nantong trains the students to adapt to the future society from three aspects: academic achievement, personal quality and social interaction. The course goals are the foundation of curriculum implementation. The courses are the path to the goals. We are training students who can go out and get back. To go out, they must understand universal languages and the culture they embody, and act as the ambassadors of Chinese culture; to come back, they need to master their own mother tongue. Wherever we go, a sense of cultural identity and confidence is important. Our students will become world leaders with an international perspective and an awareness and ability of lifelong learning.
Nord Anglia Nantong designed a 12-year curriculum from elementary school to senior high school with consistent standards in the instruction of knowledge, language teaching and learning methods. In terms of knowledge, the 1-9 grades cover all the compulsory education courses required by the state and pave the way for high school. At the elementary stage, half of the courses are taught with Chinese and the other half in English; in the secondary school stage, the ratio is 30/70; and in senior high school, all courses are taught in English – so the students are fully prepared for the courses in foreign universities. In terms of learning methods, exploratory learning and collaborative learning are the usual methods used at Nord Anglia schools.
小学课程
课程覆盖了国家义务课程,除此以,我们还开设了还开设了STEAM,游泳、戏剧、跨学科主题等科目。语文全中文教学, 除此以外, 加入大语文阅读,每个月孩子们都有精读书目和泛读书目。英语全英文,其余的学科双语教学。每班24个孩子,中外双班主任。
中学课程
每班24个人,中外双班主任,覆盖了国家义务课程。同时开设游泳、 跨学科学习内容。语文全中文教学。教学语言30中文比70英文的教学语言, 使学生可以顺利到高中全英文学习。
高中将实施IBDP 课程
这是1968年为外交官子女设计的课程, 学术成绩被世界158个国家,3500所大学所接受。含6个学科组和3门核心课程。学生可以根据自己的学科优势、职业发展方向在6个学科组里各选择一门课程,扬长避短,达到最优化组合。
学院制
诺德安达四个字不仅仅是音译,更是蕴含培养学生做人的价值观,诺:一诺千金,德:德才兼备、安:宁静致远,达:成人达已。学生来校后, 会打破年龄界限,年级界限分到四个学院里, 高年级的学生提任领导者。学生是学校教育的主体, 以学院为单位,将学校的事务让学生参与, 鼓励高年级的学生担任院长, 通过竞选获得不同的职位认可,策划和组织开展各项校园活动。学院之间通过各种活动进行良性比赛,以学院为单位培养学生合作能力和竞争意识, 树立志在高远的理想。混年的学院制活动也为培养学生的社交能力提供了平台。

Primary Curriculum
The course covers the national compulsory courses, complemented by STEM, swimming, drama, and interdisciplinary studies. In addition to Chinese language teaching, a lot of reading is included. Students make intensive and extensive reading every month. The English course is taught solely in English, and the other subjects are taught in both Chinese and English. There are 24 students in each class, managed by a Chinese head teacher and a foreign head teacher.
Secondary Curriculum
Each class consists of 24 students, and a Chinese and a foreign head teacher. All national compulsory courses are covered, in addition to swimming and interdisciplinary learning. The Chinese Language and Literature course is taught in Chinese. Thirty percent of the remaining courses are taught in Chinese, and the other seventy percent in English, so that students are prepared for the full English teaching in high school.
High School Curriculum: Implementation of the IBDP Course
The IBDP Courses are designed for children of diplomats in 1968. IBDP results are accepted by 3,500 universities in 158 countries. It contains 6 subject groups and 3 core courses. Students can choose one course in each of the six subject groups according to their own academic preference and career development goals, so as to maximize their strengths and avoid weaknesses.
Houses
The Chinese name of Nord Anglia is not a mere transliteration, but also reflects the values of the school in cultivating students as human beings. “Nuo (promise)” denotes “A promise is weightier than one thousand bars of gold”; “De (integrity)” denotes “with both integrity and professional competence”; “An (Calm)” means “A tranquil mind thinks deep”; and “Da (Achievement)” means “Accomplish goals and help others”. When students come to school, they are divided into four Houses regardless of the age and grades. Senior students act as the leaders. The students are going to be the main managers of the houses, and school affairs are subjected to college decisions. Senior students are encouraged to serve as the deans of the houses, and elect for different positions in charge of campus activities. The houses, as a whole, will participate in competitions to cultivate students' team spirit and competitive mind, and to establish high ideals. The mixed-grade house activities also provide a platform for the development of social skills.

Nord Anglia School Nantong is an international school with an international campus platform. The Nord Anglia Global Campus connects students in Nantong with children from 66 schools in countries around the world from an early age. They read the same books, research on common social problems, and get to know the understanding and perspectives of children of their same age in different countries. Thus, the students are able to think about problems from different perspectives in elementary schools and cultivate their international perspectives.
