中国是诗的国度,从诗三百到唐诗宋词,文学的长河中涌现出无数闪亮的诗句,历经岁月的淘洗而历久弥新,熠熠生辉。
China is a country full of beautiful and classic poetry. Numerous beautiful poems have appeared in the long river of literature from ancient era to modern times. The verses of thousands of years ago are still beautiful today.


2019年12月13日,万源城协和双语学校七年级全体师生齐聚学校报告厅举行诗词大会。此次活动的主题是:诵诗词经典 展少年风华。
On December 13, 2019, all the teachers and students from 7th grade of SUIS (Shanghai United International School) Wanyuan Campus gathered in the school hall to hold a poetry competition. The theme of this event is: Pass on classic ancient poems; Show your ability.

本次的活动分六个环节:诗词填空,组诗句,飞花令,看图猜诗,选择题,终极PK。
This activity was divided into six parts: Fill in the Blanks with Poems; Compose Poems; Group Poems with Keywords; Guess Poems by Pictures, Q&A for Literature Knowledge, and the Final Championship.

参赛的30名选手均来自六个班级推选出的诗词积累丰富的佼佼者,台下设有6位记分员,他们将会对每轮闯关成绩进行记录,台下的同学们既是这次比赛的见证者,也是参与者。
The 30 contestants on stage are from six classes. They were selected to represent their class because of their outstanding performance and love for classic Chinese Poem. There were also 6 scorekeepers in the audience, who would record the scores of each round of entry. The students in the audience were both witnesses and participants of the competition.


诗句填空
Fill in the Blanks with Poems
在一曲经典咏流传《将进酒》的旋律中,七年级诗词大会正式拉开帷幕……
“不敢高声语、恐惊天上人”紧张的比赛从“诗句填空”开始,工整的诗词上下文对接,选手需积累丰富,反应迅速;既考验了参赛者的基本功,也考验了他们的灵敏度。
In the first round of the competition, fill in the blanks with poems, the participants need to complete the poems with the missing words. This requires the competitors react fast and that they have a strong base in Chinese poems.

识别诗句
Compose Poems
第二轮,从九宫格出示的九个字中识别出一句五言或七言诗句,选手们需要在规定的时间内排除干扰项和混乱的顺序,找到正确的答案。
The second round, Compose Poem, requires completing one full sentence of a poem from 9 words that are placed in a cubic. Students need to be really focused in the task to get the this one competition right.

飞花令
Group Poems with Keywords
“飞花令”环节考验选手们的古诗词积累量和思维发散能力,如何就一个主题字,想到尽可能多的诗词;需博闻广记的“飞花令”让全场沸腾起来。
The next one, Group poems with key words, tests students’ ability to use key words to relate as many poems as possible. The whole audience got excited as the competition went on.


看图猜诗
Guess Poems by Pictures
“看图猜诗”是同学们最喜欢的环节,选手们必须要了解画意,能敏锐地捕捉到画面上的传递的信息,才能猜出正确的诗句,坐在台下的同学们也讨论地十分激烈。
Students also quite enjoyed the next round, which was guessing poem by pictures. As the name suggests, the participants needed to understand what was drawn in the picture to get the answer right.

抢答环节
Ask and Answer for Literature Knowledge
竞赛环环相扣、紧张激烈,难度逐层提升,选手们代表各自班级竞相展开争霸!
第五关到了抢答环节,这些选择题内容广泛,不仅考查了选手对诗歌文学常识的积累,诗意的理解赏析等,也是对学生的思辨能力的考验。
Next round was the round where all participants can answer. Whoever raises the hand first, gets to answer the question. There were a wide range of questions that are related to literature. This round tests students’ knowledge about a variety of Chinese literature.

冠军争夺
The Final Championship
最激动人心的终极PK环节,经过层层闯关,最终留在战场上的是7A高致同同学对战7E苏靖伦同学,他们将一决高下,场上的气氛顿时达到高潮。
Final competition was between Martin Gao from 7A and James Su from 7E and Martin, with a love of Chinese poems, was able to win the first prize in the final. All the students and teachers enjoyed the poem competition.


此次活动最终由7A班的高致同同学夺冠,全场掌声雷动,同学代表分别给本次活动的冠亚军献上鲜花,祝贺他们在此次活动中的精彩表现。最后,由初中部刘主任总结发言,他对此次活动同学们的精彩表现表达了赞许;并激励同学们在日常学习中多积累,对经典的诗词更多的传承。能使古诗词的种子植入每位同学的心田,在未来的人生路上,愿各位同学诗情画意常相伴,成为腹有诗书气自华的人。
Final competition was between Martin Gao from 7A and James Su from 7E and Martin, with a love of Chinese poems, was able to win the first prize in the final. All the students and teachers enjoyed the poem competition.


此次活动在刘主任的殷殷教诲中圆满落幕。活动虽已结束,但我们诗词学习仍要继续。这些古诗词是中国五千年文化凝聚的经典,同学们在对这些经典的吟诵,感受古代贤人志士的才情雅趣,胸怀志向,内化到自己的生命体验中,开阔眼界,提升修养,感受生活的美好。
This poem competition ended successfully with head of middle school, Mr. Liu’s Speech. Although the event has completed, our students enthusiastic about poetry are even higher. These ancient classic poems represent the rich Chinese culture and five-thousand-year history. Students recites these classics so that they can appreciate the beauty of Chinese poems and be inspired by these scholars and poets. The insights and wisdom that students got from these poems can be applied to their lives.
This can also broaden their horizons, and help them to learn to appreciate the beauty of life.
