Music of the spring

Flying to China for the music festival was both very fun but also stressful to NY students. Because of an upcoming "Constitutional Debate" project, along with many other homework assignments, students were in a position where they were both preparing to perform at the festival yet also had to finish a lot of homework assignments. The extra stress, however, was overcame by how much they enjoyed visiting Shanghai. They had lots of fun exploring the city, but also practicing for the Music Festival with their Dwight counterparts from all over the world. My NY peers found Qibao Dwight to be very different compared to NY Dwight, and were intrigued by the two schools' differences. Overall, they seemed to really enjoy performing in the Music Festival, meeting their international peers, and exploring China/Qibao Dwight.

这次的“春江花月”系列音乐会给我留下了十分深刻的印象。作为乐队中的一名长笛表演者，我参加了音乐会下半场的三场合奏。当演奏完毕台下掌声雷动时，浮现在我眼前的是将近一个星期排练的点点滴滴。

   虽说我以前也参加过许多乐队，但是这次是我第一次能够与来自世界各地有着音乐爱好的同学们一起演奏。在排练时，我们不时会交流彼此的心得感受，我还认识了以前并不熟悉的Mary学姐：）（因为没有学长）。我们的训练老师Mr. David 在我们紧张的练习之余也会不时地开开玩笑，让我们能够得到放松以便更好地投入到排练之中。

     总之这次的音乐会可以说是非常的好玩！希望下次能够再一次参加！

台前桃花三两枝，寒梅落如雪乱～料峭春寒，七宝德怀特高级中学迎来了第一届在上海举办的德怀特全球音乐会（Dwight Global Concert）。来自全球各地德怀特校区的校友们齐聚一堂，于2月23日在上海音乐厅为我们呈现出一场精彩纷呈的艺术佳席。

观演后，来自世界各个地域校友们的身影久萦心梢。许是领唱《一个明星的诞生》音乐串烧的迪拜校区学姐；或是吟唱《蓝蓝的夜，蓝蓝的梦》的上海德怀特校区合唱团；再者可能是独奏《凉凉》的拨弦者……驻存回忆，我们携手同行。
