Shine on the sports flied.

On May 29, 2020, NAS Nantong sports day have been held as scheduled. At 8:30 in the morning, children entered the stadium in order according to the grade and class. After the solemn flag raising ceremony, the drummers beat the drums of Nuo, De, An and Da to announce the official start of the sports meeting. Among the inspiring cheers, the children were divided into four houses, namely Nuo, De, An and Da.

The mini sports day set up a wealth of events, including tug of war, long jump, javelin throw, shot put, sandbag throw, jute bag jump, dodge ball, obstacle game, basketball dribble, football dribble, tire challenge, water transmission, spoon & egg relay, etc. We use a wide range of sports equipment for children to provide a variety of forms of indoor and outdoor activities, to fully mobilize children's sports ability and stimulate children's sports spirit. We have seen many valuable qualities of children in this competition.

When they were in the spoon & egg relay race, the children focus on the eggs in their hands and try to complete the task without external interference. When passing the balance beam, the narrow plank can't stop them from moving forward at full speed.

Children are brave to try. No matter how tall the pommel horse is, it can't stop them from challenging themselves and overcoming their fears with a brave heart. No matter how complex the obstacles are, it can't stop them from crawling forward and exploring the front with a pioneer's heart.

In the long jump, the children are not afraid of the sand and dust. Even the camera can't capture their quick posture.

When throwing sandbags and playing football, they are all focused on measurement, concentration, finding the best position, decisive attack and hit the target.

When jumping sacks, small sacks can't restrain their flexible limbs. They mobilize their whole body and strive to jump over obstacles.

The house competition system showed the children’s team spirit.

The children have an advanced sense of division and cooperation. They choose the right leader for each project through their understanding of their classmates.

In the tire challenge, the children lift the huge tires and work together for the team's victory.

In dodge ball games, children understand the strength of the team, the importance of division of labor, and how to make strategies and set reasonable goals.

In the rolling relay race, even the primary school children, with the encouragement and help of the teachers, know how to abide by the rules and learn to motivate themselves.

In tug of war, no matter how strong their opponents are, they can't resist their determination to fight hard. Not to become dizzy with success, not be discouraged by failure. In the wheel race, they maintain the enterprising spirit of exploring the winning strategy.

When delivering water, children dare to trial and error, find the best way to deliver water, tolerate the mistakes of their peers and encourage each other.

When walking together, children show their skills of cooperating with others. They work together with their peers for the same goal and enhance their friendship with each other.

Children's sense of competition is fair and respect.

They know how to get along with their opponents and respect their opponents. They work hard, even if they lost, they can shake hands with smile and say congratulations. They pay attention to fair competition, whether they are tuging of war or dodging the ball, they pay attention to the balance of number and strength, when their team has too many members or distribute uneven, they will adjust the number of members initiatively. They are good at communication. They can appreciate the advantages of others, employ people according to their merits, recognize the excellence of others, understand their own advantages. They always bravely express their views and willing to accept others' suggestions.

Every child shines their own unique light in the mini sports day! They  win honours for their own college glory. They harvest a sense of personal achievement and collective honor at same time!
