亲爱的各位诺德安达的同仁们、同学们和家长们，

新年好！

2020年的春节，相信大家都一样，习惯了早晨醒来看到新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情的信息如瀑布一般涌出。这次在武汉爆发的疫情，就像涟漪一般层层激荡开来，影响着全国各地，也牵动着世界每一个人的心。

84岁高龄的钟南山院士，临危受命，挺身而出，奔赴疫情一线；一群孩子，换上了白衣，逆行奔向没有硝烟的战场，学着前辈的样子，同死神抢人；四千多名建筑工人，放弃了一年一次回家跟亲人团聚的机会，在火神山工地昼夜不停，争分夺秒进行建设...... 在疫情防控的严峻时刻，一个个熟悉又陌生的身影，活跃在抗击疫情的一线；一帧帧感人的画面，定格在每个抗疫的瞬间。你们为职责和使命前行，我们为希望和感恩坚守等待，总有一种力量，让人热泪盈眶。感谢你们，致敬每一位奋战在一线的人员！

目前，诺德安达教育集团在中国的各所学校，都积极响应各地区省、市、区教育局的防控指示，有条不紊地实施防控预案；各学校成立专项应急小组，家校紧密合作，共同守护师生们的安全与健康；组织教师进行线上学术答疑，启动无边界学习模式，帮助学生在家期间提高自我管理和自主学习能力。

此刻是艰难的时刻，而越是在遇到困境的时候，越是要有战胜困难的信念与志向；“先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐”，“穷则独善其身，达则兼济天下”，是每一个诺德安达学子和同仁都承载着的担当与责任，也是诺、德、安、达的价值观。我们相信，只要我们同舟共济，守望相助，科学防治，一定能战胜疫情。

Dear Nord Anglia Staff, Students and Parents,

Best wishes for the New Year.

During Spring Festival of 2020, all of us are used to waking up in the morning with a flood of information about the new coronavirus pneumonia outbreak. The outbreak in Wuhan has stirred up the entire country and touched the heart of everyone in the world.

At the age of 84, academician Zhong Nanshan risked his life and went to the front line against the epidemic at the most dangerous time; a group of young doctors changed into white gowns and went to help; more than 4,000 construction workers gave up the opportunity to go home once a year to reunite with their loved ones, and worked day and night at the Huoshenshan Hospital construction site, racing against a seemingly impossible deadline.  At this moment of epidemic prevention, a lot of people are devoting themselves at the front line; frames of moving pictures freeze every moment of fighting against the epidemic.

At present, all Nord Anglia schools in China are actively responding to the prevention and control instructions of the Provincial, Municipal and District Education Bureau’s, and are implementing the prevention and control plans in an orderly manner. Every school has established an emergency team,  and is working together closely to guard the safety and health of the students and teachers; teachers are organised to conduct online consultation and learning sessions outside classroom to help students improve their self-management and improve their learning at home. 

In times of hardship, it is exactly at these times when we should have the conviction and ambition to excel; This is the value of Nord Anglia and the responsibility of every student and staff to support and help others, and work as part of a team.
