Primary School Online Reading Activities
“最是书香能致远，
读书之乐乐无穷。”
“It is the scent of books that can spread the most far away. Reading books provides endless fun.”
非常时期，宅在家里，读书已然成为孩子们“打发时间”的最好时光。
During this special time, staying at home, reading books seems to become the best way to spend time.
此次阅读活动，我们巧借云端润书香，将阅读活动放到“云端”进行，历时一个月。活动中，同学们不但当了一回“书房小导游”，将自己的“小书房”和近期阅读的书目用微视频的方式向大家一一作了介绍，而且还与自己的爸爸妈妈共读一本书，在家完成了“亲子共阅读”的微视频创作，其乐融融。
For this series of reading activities, we did it online and it took about one month. Students not only became “little tour guide of the study” to introduce their own study and the books that they read recently through short videos, but also read the same book with their parents and make the short video “parents and children reading together”, which was very cheerful.

每个孩子都应该拥有自己的专属“小书房”
Every child should have their own “small study”
随心地窝在“小书房”里，捧着心爱的图书，是多么美妙的阅读时光！
It was such a wonderful reading time to stay in the “small study”, holding beloved books in the hands!
或许，这个“书房”不大。它只是在沙发背后的一个小角落，铺在房间的一张卡通柔软的小地毯，一排小小的书架，加一个暖暖的靠枕。但那里，是孩子们最爱的地方。
Perhaps this "study" is not big. It might be just a small corner behind the sofa, a piece of soft rug that spreads in the room, a row of small bookshelves, with a warm pillow to lean on. But it's the favorite place for kids.
同学们的小书房就像一个知识宝库，拥有着丰富的书籍。从自然到人文，从历史到科学，从人物传记到科幻小说，真可谓应有尽有，类目繁多。
The small study of the students is like a treasure house of knowledge with a wealth of books. From nature to humanities, from history to science, from biography to science fiction, there is a wide variety of genres.

沐浴书海，对我们来说是一件幸福的事，然而还有更幸福的就是，有一个人能和我们一起，为书中的情节牵肠挂肚，被书中的故事深深吸引。
It is a blessing for us to bathe in the sea of books. However, it is a greater happiness to have someone to stay with us and be deeply attracted by the plots as well as the stories in the books.

同学们用微视频的方式，向同伴分享了自己读过的好书，在分享好书的同时，分享知识与快乐。把我最喜爱的书推荐给你，同样我也等你把最喜爱的书推荐给我，分享智慧、增长见识，让彼此闻到智慧碰撞的芬芳，一时间，云端处处充满了书香。
Through short videos, the students shared the good books they had read with their peers. While sharing those books, they also shared their knowledge and happiness. “I will recommend my favorite book to you, and I will also wait for you to recommend your favorite book to me.” Students were able to share their wisdom and enrich their knowledge.

通过好书大推荐，同学们一下子了解了很多的好书，拓宽了选择图书的视野，同时对同学们的口语表达能力、表现能力都是一次很好的锻炼。
Through the recommendation of good books, students suddenly knew a lot of great books, which broadened their vision of choosing books. At the same time, it was also a great chance for the students to practice their oral speaking ability and expressive ability.

录制前选一本共同想推荐的书籍也是一个很有意思的过程，我们各自选了两本，最后一致决定《爱德华的奇妙之旅》。我们常说多与孩子沟通，其实亲子共读就是很好的沟通方式。这学期有一篇课文是茅盾的《天窗》，它是作者内心的慰藉，阅读同样也会带来无限慰藉，愿我们一起和孩子的共读里找到这扇心灵的天窗。

有人说，最好的教养，便是用阅读和孩子一起成长。与孩子一起阅读的故事，是生命中不可交换的记忆。
Some people say that the best upbringing is to read and grow up together with children. The stories we read with our children are the irreplaceable memories in our lives.
云端“亲子共阅读”中，爸爸妈妈和同学们一起向我们展示最温馨的“亲子共读好时光”。同学们或是和父母一起朗诵一段文字，或是和父母一起分享亲子共读的读书体验，或是和父母一起分享一本都爱读的书。
In "Parent and children reading together", parents and the students show us the warm time that they spend reading together. Students may read a passage together with their parents, share the reading experience with their parents, or share a book they both love to read.

平时大人总是让我们读书，自己却在玩手机，还不让我们玩。这不是有点不公平吗？但是通过这次亲子阅读，我发现爸爸妈妈原来懂得这么多，他们做学生的时候也是很认真学习，读了很多课外书的。

要特别谢谢学校在疫情期间发起了这样有意思的“云”活动，这个回顾的过程充满了乐趣和惊喜。回顾之后才发现小书虫在疫情期间已经啃了不少书，成长也是令人欣喜。读书能给孩子的是更多更广的看世界的维度和角度，而亲子共读则更是走近孩子的好机会。妈妈唠唠叨叨很多遍都听不进去的话，选一本孩子喜欢的好书一起读一读谈一谈吧。

阅读，可以帮助我们更多地向内看，更好地认识自己，不断扩大自己的舒适区，学会与自己相处，与世界相处。也许，你读过的书会不复记忆，但它们仍旧潜在你的气质里，谈吐上，以及胸襟的无涯上，当然也会显露在生活里。
Reading can help us look inward more, get to know ourselves better, and constantly expand our comfort zone. It also helps us to learn to get along with ourselves as well as the world. You may not be able to remember all the books you read, but they are still in your temperament, in your way of speaking, in your mind, and of course in your life.
“希望通过此次云端读书系列活动，让同学们远离焦虑，在阅读中充实内心，开阔视野，与书籍为伴。”我们的老师如是说。
"We hope that through this series of reading activities, students can get rid of anxiety, enrich their hearts, broaden their horizons and be with books." Said our teacher.
一个月的时间已经过去，云端读书活动即将落下帷幕，但孩子们与书相伴的人生才刚刚开始！
A month has passed and the online reading activity is coming to an end, but the time to stay with books just begins!
