学术专栏-老师来信 诺德安达老师期盼与你们相聚校园 | NAS Beijing teacher's letter

亲爱的同学们，

不在学校的日子里，我希望你和你的家人们身体健康。我知道你们一直忙于通过学校提供的平台进行学习，老师和学校领导也在努力确保提供高标准的教育资源。自从在线学习开始以来，很高兴看到你们的老师提供了很多非常好的学习机会。我校的在线平台是一个很好的让父母参与你们学习的平台，它使学习可见，从而父母在家就可以支持你的学习，教师也可以对你们的作业提供及时和集中的反馈。针对高年级学生准备的学习论坛，可以帮助他们发展自我管理技能，从而变得更加活跃和独立。请放心，北京诺德安达的所有课程都旨在通过Microsoft TEAMS与老师面对面交流，培养学生的思维和沟通技能；在完成作业以及与同伴一起完成小组任务时培养研究和社交技能。

你们的老师用了很多心血确保你们在学习知识而不仅是应付作业，所以请尽量支持老师们的工作。确保按时完成任务、作业符合标准以及保持较高的出勤率。我知道有时缺课是不可避免的，所以如果你不能上课，务必确保提前告知老师，以便他们调整计划。老师一直会给你们提供支持，所以对于任何一项任务或活动，如果你需要更详细的解释，一定要给他们发消息。我已经看到老师提供的一些很好的反馈，因此我相信这有助于你们进一步的完善。

最后，祝你们本周学习圆满成功，也希望课程恢复正常，返回学校后能尽快与大家见面。

Dear Students,

I hope that you and your families are well and that you are staying healthy whilst away from school. But, I do know that you have been very busy with you studies via school platforms and that your teachers and school leaders are working very hard to ensure that your educational experience continues to be provided at a high standard. It has given me great pleasure to see all the fantastic learning opportunities that your teachers having been providing since online learning started. Our school's platform has been a really useful way for your parents to engage with your learning by making it visible, so that your parents can support your learning at home, as well as allowing teachers to provide timely and focused feedback on your work.  We have also provide a great forum for our older students to prepare themselves by allowing the development of self-management skills in becoming more active and independent learners. Please do be reassured that all lessons at NAS Beijing are designed to develop your thinking and communication skills by engaging with your Teachers face-to-face via Microsoft TEAMS, as well as your research and social skills when completing homework and working with your peers in group tasks.

To help support your teachers as they work very hard to ensure you are learning (not just ‘doing work’), please can you make sure that you meet your deadlines, ensure that your work is to the standards set by your teachers, but also maintain a high attendance rate to your classes. I do know that sometimes an absence can be unavoidable, so if you are not able to attend a lesson, you must ensure that you inform your teacher in advance so that they can plan accordingly. As always, your teachers are here to support you so do send them a message if you need a task or activity further explained to you. I have seen some excellent feedback being provided by teachers to you already, so I am sure that this is helpful in engaging you in improving work completed and returned.

On a final note, I wish you every success with your classwork this week and I do hope to see you all very soon once we are all back in School, with lessons resuming as normal.
