Fudan-Vanke Experimental Private School, is the earliest school established by DTD, it has more than 1,300 students from China and 17 other countries. Principal Ms.s Jin, graduated from East China Normal University, majoring in Chinese language and literature. She was awarded the honorary titles of "excellent educator", "top-notch educator", "backbone teacher of middle-aged and young people", and has rich experience in education and teaching management.

More than 85% of the junior high school graduates are admitted to key middle schools in Shanghai, such as Fudan Affiliated Middle School, Second Affiliated Middle School of China Normal University, Jiaotong University Affiliated Middle School and Shanghai Middle School, as well as internationally renowned schools.

School sets ABC classes according to the different needs of domestic and foreign students, classes are not based on the results of good or bad, but according to the future development direction of students.

It is said that there is no best school, only the most suitable school for children, ABC three classes for different parents to provide a choice, parents can choose according to different educational ideas.

In addition to providing individualized curriculum modules for Chinese and foreign students, the school has also established a curriculum framework around the subject of "learners" - the "VIP curriculum system"

The whole starting point of the construction of VIP curriculum system is based on the "learner-centered" curriculum concept and the "cultivation of every student as the most important person" education concept. There are only one class system in VKBS, and all Chinese-English bilingual courses are adopted. On the basis of the curriculum requirements of primary and secondary schools in Shanghai, combined with the reality of the school, the five core types of courses on campus are formed, and a series of comprehensive development derivative courses are carried out. It has both the meticulous and rigorous Oriental Education and the relaxed and innovative western education, so as to achieve the infiltration education of both mother tongues.

The principals of VKBS are Chen Shu and Ms.C. Principal Chen is the principal of Minhang Private Primary and Secondary School Association and the director of Pudong New Area Primary and Secondary School Foreign Language Teaching Research Association. She graduated from the Department of foreign languages of Shanghai International Studies University and has a wealth of experience in education. He was awarded the title of "Shanghai Private Education Excellence Award" and "the national outstanding private primary and secondary school principal".

Ms.C was the founder of Fudan Vanke C-Ban and the foreign principal of VKBS. Ms. C is able to get along with students and be serious when they don't follow the rules. Looking through MS C's circle of friends, she says, Children's smiles are the most important thing in her 27-year teaching career.

Sixty percent of the graduates were admitted to well-known overseas high schools, such as Groton School, The Thacher School, Troy High School, Dana Hall School and so on. Forty percent of the graduates were admitted to well-known international high schools in China, such as Pinghe Bilingual, Seven Treasures Dwight, Dewey, Singapore International, etc. The first class of graduates (former C-Ban students) trained under the current curriculum framework have been promoted to overseas universities by 100% in 2018, including Harvard University, Northwestern University, Duke University, UCLA and so on.

The campus of VKBS is in a refurbished building which used to be the Shanghai Vanke Center. The school’s teaching area is equipped with central air conditioning and fresh air haze filtering system. The double glass curtain wall ensures light and noise insulation. Look at pictures.

The school is dedicated to cultivating children as lifelong learners, attaching great importance to the development of children's reading habits, entrance is the open learning resources center library, the current collection of nearly 6,000 volumes.

The school follows Vanke’s corporate culture and has a love of sports, especially rowing. Rowing and rock climbing are unique activities that the school offers for its students. At present, it is the only school in China that has a rowing pool within the school campus. Rowing has been included in the compulsory course of physical education in the middle school. Each student has one class every week. The school rowing team takes part in 6-8 top domestic and foreign rowing events on average every year, winning many gold medals.

As for rock climbing, the school has become the first "national rock climbing school" in Shanghai with excellent hardware conditions and excellent professional coaching team.

In addition, touch-screen multimedia teaching equipment, roof golf putting course, dryland ice hockey hall, small theater, STEAM classroom, etc., is to make the whole campus culture unique.

Established in 2017, Pudong Vanke School is seamlessly connected with Vanke Kindergarten, Pudong. It is also very close to DTD Kindergarten, Zhoupu. DTD gives full play to the advantages of group school running. The three schools have the same philosophy, curriculum system, teachers'strength and characteristic activities and operate in coordination.

Zhao Junning, principal of Vanke Pudong School, was a former vice principal of the attached secondary school and an associate professor of Shanghai Foreign Studies University. Speaking of the reasons for joining DTD, Principal Zhao said that he wanted to seek the spark of education produced by the combination and collision between education and other industries and to create a "new consensus education" belonging to Shanghai and China in the form of "one heart, two languages and three styles".

Mr. Zhao's witty and humorous style of speech, together with his personal charm and wisdom, made every lecture very popular. In addition, Zhao jokes that Shanghai's mothers are the world's first non-governmental educators, so Vanke Pudong School places a great deal of importance on making sure teachers and parents have constant and  constructive communication.
