每周三的学校课程结束后,我们都将组织学校的教师团队召开教师会议,与教师团队共同沟通加强学校建设,拓展教师的教育经验,提升学生的教学体验。

上周三的教师会议上,教师团队展开了有关诺德安达教育集团教学质量框架的讨论工作。在合作探讨的过程中,教师们更加着重在与学生成功至关重要的领域:教育项目。
教师团队根据不同的课题分别选择各个小组展开讨论。每一课题下都设有关键问题,大家需要共同讨论每一个关键问题,寻找他们在学校擅长的某一特定领域,并在过程中总结反思。每一个讨论的结果并不是凭空而想,而是真实存在,用现实的证据支撑各自的观点。清楚地认识到自身所处的环境,是为未来发展奠定的有利基础。教师团队和行政团队也能够彼此合作,制定一系列战略规划,以实现学校的目标。与任何改进计划一样,宁波市奉化区诺德安达学校的计划从简到全,定量定性的确立团队可实现的每一步,引领学校发展。

任何旅程都会迈出第一步,每一个第一步都把握着旅程的方向。学校也是如此,学校进步和学生成长环环相扣,有着千丝万缕的联系。拥有“同一愿景”,共同描绘属于他们这趟路程的蓝图,将更有效为学生成长提供帮助,为他们的成功提供捷径。促进彼此成功,加强彼此理解,加深彼此信任,共同为所有人的理想努力。

Every Wednesday after the instructional day, teachers at NAS Ningbo participate in meetings that are all designed to strengthen the school and thus strengthen the educational experience of each of our learners.

This past Wednesday, teachers met to begin work on NAE Quality Assurance Framework. Engaging in a process of collaborative inquiry, the teachers began to look at a number of areas that are important to the success of students: the educational program.
The process began when each teacher was assigned to one of the above-mentioned groups. Teachers had to answer key questions that encourage them to reflect on our current practice to identify practices that we are doing at the school and to answer how do we know we are doing well in a particular area. This is not an exercise in what we think rather what we know and can use evidence to support our claims. Of course, it is important to be honest during this process and to identify areas that require improvement. Though this process will require some time, once we have a clear sense of where we are now, faculty and administration will begin mapping out a strategy for progressing to where we want to be. As with any improvement plan, the NAS Ningbo one will include concise, measurable, and achievable goals and objectives to lead us on the path to success.

Any journey begins with just one step. But without a clear picture of the destination, that step is likely to be in the wrong direction. The journey to school improvement and student achievement is no different. Everyone involved in the process needs to develop a focused image of the goal and create a map that will lead them there together. This concept, known as shared vision, fosters success because everyone becomes part of the process, understanding and believing in his or her role in the day-to-day pursuits of helping students learn in productive ways. All have ownership in that ideal and are committed to change.
