诺德安达学校荣获年度国际学校和最佳社区行动奖 | International School of the Year

阿布扎比英国国际学校被评为杰出的社区倡议者，他们的学生和阿布扎比大学合作来重新设计一个具有可持续和社区效益的当地超级街区。“最佳社区倡议奖”表彰诺德安达的学生为当地做出的贡献，并超越了学校作为国际学校的典范所做的工作。

阿布扎比英国国际学校的校长Patrick Horne说:“我们非常自豪这些优秀学生的作品得到认可。该奖项在全球备受尊敬，这是一个了不起的荣誉，但更重要的是，它赞扬了我们学生的努力工作，他们真正致力于为社区做出贡献。”

ISC Research主办了这场一年一度的盛典活动，表彰世界各地以英语为媒介的国际学校的杰出举措。今年有来自40个不同国家的250多所国际学校成功入选提名候选学校。获奖者是由11位经验丰富的国际教育家组成的独立评审团选出的。

ISC研究中心的首席执行官Leigh Webb说: “有一些非常优秀的国际学校正在实施真正杰出的举措。ISC研究中心非常自豪地主办了国际学校奖，这有助于认可和提高这些非常好的倡议。所有的倡议都必须向评审团展示其战略，使之能够与其他学校共享。再次祝贺曼谷圣安德鲁斯国际学校今年取得的巨大成功，也祝贺阿布扎比英国国际学校的出色倡议。”

BISAD was recognised as the standout community initiative for its collaboration between students and Abu Dhabi University to redesign a local superblock with sustainable and community benefits. Commended for its contribution to the local area and going above and beyond what the school is already doing in its role as an exemplary international school, the Best Community Initiative award recognises how Nord Anglia students are working together to make a sustainable difference.   

Principal of BISAD, Patrick Horne, said: “We are incredibly proud to have the work of our admirable students recognised. The award is globally respected which is a fantastic accolade but more so, it celebrates the hard work of our students who are truly committed to making a difference in the community.”  

ISC Research hosts the annual event to recognise outstanding initiatives in English-medium international schools around the world. This year there were over 250 eligible nominations for the awards from international schools across 40 different countries. The winners were chosen by an independent judging panel of 11 highly experienced international educators.

ISC Research is very proud to host the International School Awards which help to recognise and raise awareness of some of these very best initiatives. All initiatives have to demonstrate to judges evidence of strategies that enable the initiative to be shared with other schools. Many congratulations to St Andrews International School Bangkok for its superb success this year and also to the British International School Abu Dhabi for an excellent initiative.”
