WISS Returns I 重返西华校园 -唯寻国际教育

The Western International School of Shanghai (WISS) is pleased to announce that Grade 10 and Grade 12 students will begin a staggered return to campus starting next week. Students in Grades 4-9 & 11 have also been approved to begin returning to WISS campus in the coming weeks.

我们很高兴地通知您，西华已获批开始分阶段开学复课，10 年级和 12 年级从这周开始。4年级至9年级以及11年级的学生也将在随后几周内陆续重返校园。

The WISS community is excited, and eager to reunite and begin returning to normal. When observing what many people in other countries are currently experiencing, we feel very fortunate to be in this position right now.

While this is very positive news, in accordance with Shanghai and Qingpu Government Health and Education Authorities, WISS’ first priority is the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, the entire WISS community must continue to work together for the health and well-being of all members of our community.

WISS has been working tirelessly in conjunction with all relevant government agencies for the past two weeks to ensure proper health and safety procedures are implemented.

The WISS Online Model will continue until the end of the academic year for those students who cannot return to campus.

In compliance with Shanghai and Qingpu Government Health and Education Authorities, campus entry and exit requirements have changed.

根据上海市和青浦区政府卫生和教育部门的要求，校园出入要求已更改。

Only WISS students and staff are allowed on campus. Parents are only allowed on campus by appointment for urgent matters.

仅允许西华的学生和教职员工出入校园。家长仅可在紧急情况下，通过预约进入校园。

There is no parking permitted on campus. Students arriving by car will be dropped off in the newly designated drop-off lane.

校园内禁止停车。坐私家车来校的学生将统一在新指定的下车道下车。

Everyone entering the campus must wear a mask, present their Shanghai Health QR code, and submit to a temperature check.

进入校园的每个人都必须戴上口罩，出示上海健康二维码，并进行体温检查。

All bus routes will continue. Students’ temperatures will be taken prior to boarding a school bus. No students with a fever or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be allowed onto school buses or to enter the campus.

所有校车路线将继续运行。学生上校车前需测量体温。任何发烧或出现新冠病毒症状的学生均不得乘坐校车或进入校园。

Students who develop a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 while at school will be subject to isolation until they can be sent to an approved government hospital.

In compliance with Shanghai and Qingpu Government Health and Education Authorities, students are required to wear masks in the classroom, to wash and sterilize their hands before entering the school and throughout the day, and to have their temperature checked throughout the day.

In compliance with Shanghai and Qingpu Government Health and Education Authorities, thorough cleaning and disinfection of the school will be carried out daily.
