Since last week, all the extra-curricular courses in our school have resumed. NAS Beijing will provide all you want. Rich Art Courses

In NAS Beijing, as an art project in cooperation with Juilliard College, our major courses will cover more directions in our extra-curricular courses. For example, there are folk dance, street dance, piano, drama performance, etc. The beautiful posture, melodious piano performance and childlike mirror drama performance make the art center on the fourth floor of our complex building full of artistic atmosphere. Graded English Course

Chinese and English are the main languages in bilingual school classes. We always hear some parents’ concern, if the children transfer from public school and have a general English foundation, can they follow the English classes of foreign and Chinese teachers? We believe that when they immersed in a bilingual environment, every child can quickly recognize bilingual acquisition and adapt by time. However, we pay more attention to our students’ better and faster adaptation to the learning environment, so the English courses will be provided in the expansion courses according to different levels of the students to consolidate their English language abilities.

Chinese Culture Course to Deeply Cultivate 

Mother Language Culture

An important point in Nord Anglia education philosophy is to teach students to learn their mother tongue culture deeply, which is not only realized in the classroom but also extended in the extra-curricular courses. In last week's course, our teacher told the students about the origin of Chinese fans and how to spread this Chinese culture abroad. In the calligraphy class, the teacher taught the students the characteristics and meanings of different fonts and inscriptions through the theme of tablet.

Traditional extracurricular courses may be more concentrated in the above courses, but in Nord Anglia, we can provide students with two exploration camps in Tanzania and Switzerland, and students from 66 schools can use summer and winter vacations to go to the camps for outreach experience, broaden their horizons and experience the world. The students of our school once participated in overseas exploration activities together with the children of other Nord Anglia schools, and completed the tasks in collaboration. Those activities can cultivate students’ social abilities such as interpersonal communication, solidarity and cooperation.

In addition, various projects developed in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund can provide our children with opportunities to get to learn about the international issues at high-level political forums in New York.
