House System

大家期待已久的学院制终于正式启动了，学院制度旨培养学生的团队合作与竞争意识，让大家学习到团队工作的价值，也可以看到个人价值和成就在团体中的贡献。SDA每个学院覆盖了不同年级和班级的学生，学生们可以学院建立跨年级和班级的交流和联系，促进SDA社区的共同发展。

We officially start our House system.  As all we know, the purpose of the house system is to facilitate character-building according to the 5Cs and 5Rs, as well as to create a sense of competition among students. Students will learn the value of working as a team and see how their individual achievements can also contribute to the wider group. Vertical integration of the homerooms into a House will also help students build bonds across different year levels and community better development.

House Points Allocation and rules

1. 教师积分Teacher Points：

2.学术部门（包括音乐）Academic Departments (including Music)：

各100分（总计700分）–将分配给参与并赢得学术部门举办的竞争性和非竞争性活动的学生。

100 points each (700 total) – These are to be allocated for participation and winning both competitive and noncompetitive activities run by Academic Departments.

3.体育与体育部Sports and PE Department：

400分–为体育（羽毛球，飞盘，田径）以及体育参与分配。

400 points – Allocated for sports (Badminton, Frisbee, Track & Field) as well as PE participation. 

4.英语口语日English Speaking Day：

200分–适用于贴纸最多的学生。

200 points – For students with the most stickers.

5.学生处Student Affairs：

500分–用于任何活动和奖励表彰。

500 points – For any recognition and activities.

6.综合事务处General Affairs：

100分–用于任何活动。

100 points – For any activities.  

7.教务处Academic Office: 

100分–用于任何活动。

100 points – For any activities.

8.升学指导办公室College Counselling Office：

100分–用于任何活动。

100 points – For any activities.

9. 探路者课程Mastermind：

50分–用于课堂参与，努力，成绩等。

50 points – For class participation, effort, results etc.

10.全球视野Global Perspectives：

50分–用于课堂参与，努力，成绩等。

第三站：学院积分展示和奖励(3月学院积分)

House points display and recognition

(Houses points on March)

一积分可获得一张炫彩卡片，每100积分可以换一个套娃，套娃越大说明分数越高。学院的积分结果会定期公布，一般为每月进行一次公布。

One point can get a physical card, every 100 points can be changed to a doll, the bigger the doll is means the higher the points the house get. The results of the points will be published regularly, usually once a month.

三月份的各个学院积分已经重磅出炉，积分类型包括英语演讲比赛、课外活动、学生处奖励与表彰。

House points in March were calculated according to English speaking competitions, extracurricular activities and recognition record.
