今年，DP高中部将以“未来世界”为大主题，深入体验丰富多元的未来社会。

在这个大主题之下，十年级的主题涉及了未来世界的多种可能，包括热门话题“基因编辑”、“太空探索”、“时空旅行”、“永生”、“末日求生”，等等…

十一年级的同学则将围绕“机器人与人类”这一核心命题，思考老师给定的三大议题：机器人是否应该拥有人权？机器人是否会替代人力劳动？它将成就我们，还是毁灭我们？

带着对三大议题的思考，每个班级抽取机器人未来所在的一个领域，例如体育、医学、教育等等，设置戏剧、辩论等趣味游园形式呈现各自主题。两个年级的同学都将以各自抽到的场馆主题为中心，围绕与主题相关的big question设计不同的故事线供参观者体验。

Immortality

Big Q: Is immortality a good thing to human beings?

Our fun house provides a space in which every participant has different identities under a world with immorality. Their whole life will be stimulated and their thoughts will be provoked.

这是一个反乌托邦的未来的社会里，有不朽的技术。在这里，社会分层很严峻，金钱可以买任何东西。你作为其中的一员，在这个不道德的社会当中，会拥有不同的身份。你的一生将被激发，你的思想将被激发。你，期待吗？

Artificial Intelligence

Big Q: Does artificial intelligence make our life easier?

Under the splendor of the seemingly perfect world where AI obeys us in absolute manner, humanity is in distress.

随着AI技术的高度发展，AI机器人现在具有着意识和道德。人类在工厂中人工制造AI，并像奴隶一样残酷地对待AI机器人。许多AI机器人再也无法忍受奴役情况，他们想逃离这个可怕的世界…

New Social Order

Big Q: Will technology exacerbate social inequality?

Our team developed a new social order and used it as a background to write a multiplayer role-playing script. The guest as a player needs to read the script and find out the truth of the story through investigation and reasoning.

环境灾难之后，动物被从土地上抹去了。人类试图恢复这些生活，但他们缺乏必要的基因。他们在生物基因空缺的地方填充了人类基因。那些“动物”，带有着人类基因，就这样在这片土地上生活着……

Time travel

Big Q: If you were born a time traveler, would you enjoy knowing what your future holds? Explain why?

Time travel, a theoretically possible thing that cannot be achieved to be done today, is what might happen in a very far future.

从理论上讲，时间旅行是当今遥不可及的未来，这是当今尚无法实现的事情。你过去所做的事情实际上是您现在正在经历的结果。因此，无论你花多少时间在旅途中，事情都不会改变。

Space Exploration

BIg Q: Is it worthwhile to explore space at all costs?

Give us a chance to show you the magnificent/miserable future of space exploration, including acting in immersive environment. Experience the future yourself!

Gene Editing

Big Q: Should gene editing technology be applied on human beings?

Humans are hesitating on the moral bottom line, laboratory convenes some experimenters and edits their genes. Finally ask experimenters for feedback. The proportion of results determines the human's decision.

人类道德底线上反复试探。这里有一间人类在未来从事转基因实验的实验室。实验室将召集愿意进行实验以改变其基因的志愿者，所有后果只能由他们自己承担。

Doomsday Survival

Big Q: Tomorrow, there’s going to be a catastrophic event which will probably

destroy all life on earth. A team of people with special skills are working together to save the world, but their chance of success is only 1%. You have a special skill which can contribute to the team. Would you join them, or would you choose to spend your last day with the people you love?

The Doomsday Group received a letter. One woman said that her father was a researcher of Cthulhu. Chaos will return to the earth. Can you seize the chance to survive?

Big Q: Discuss about the future of the domestic robot.

Nine in a room, one lies dead. Under the same roof, where lies lie undercurrent and truth remains unsaid. When robots enter our lives; when machines wield our knives -- the devil hides among us. Visit the Devil House at 11-1 and engage in a game of life and death to find out Who’s the Werewolf and Who’s the Murderer.

当然，作为此次英语节task-based learning整体设计的一部分，体验游园的目的是服务于最终的写作产出。10年级的同学在游园后要基于场馆体验，以两篇journal与一篇essay的形式，记录下你们在该主题上的想法；11年级的同学将结合自己班级的准备和游园的体验，从这三大议题中选一个议题写一篇反思。

For all：

Choose one big topic from journals and write awell-organized essay.

Requirements for the essay:

-500-600 words

-A4 printed

ForDP-11

Write a short essay about 400-600 words on one of thegiven topics that interest you, which should cover the three things below:

- Your personal ARGUMENT on the main topic questions of the particularfun house.
- The REFERENCES (facts, ideas and viewpoints from articles, films, sciencefictions, online information, news report, etc.) you have used to support yourargument.

- At least ONE ACTIVITY that you were engaged in orobserved in any of the fun houses during the English Festival.

Awards:在文章写作完成之后，老师们将选择最优秀的文章通过公众号等形式与大家分享。外教会组成一个评审团，对场馆的海报、布置装饰、活动设计和班级参与度等诸多方面进行评选。最终评出以下四个奖项：最佳场馆奖；最佳活动奖；最佳布置奖；最发人深省奖。

Awards:OSTs will form a panel to evaluate the design of fun houses, decoration,stamps, etc. They will hand out the following awards: Best RoomOverall; BestActivities; BestDecorationand Most Inspiring.
