Children's inner world is incredibly rich and intricate, and each child has his own views and opinions. Parents who listen carefully to their children's hearts will undoubtedly be able to canalize their children's emotions and shorten the mind distance that separates the adult world from the kids’ world. In order to help parents understand their children's mental state and developmental needs in-depth, our school will hold Parents – Children Workshops on positive pedagogy and communication.
孩子内心世界丰富，他们对事物有自己的看法和见解。家长们认真倾听孩子的心里话，无疑能调动孩子的情绪，拉近家长与孩子的心灵距离。为了帮助家长深入了解孩子的心理状况，从而引导孩子良好的情绪，我校将于近期推出HQIS亲子大讲堂，专为幼小年龄段家长带来主题分别为「亲子沟通」与「正面管教」的系列讲座。

Introduction:
Parent-child communication is directly related to the quality of the parent-child relationship and has a crucial impact on the growth of young children. “How can I communicate with my children?” - “Why my son/daughter ignores what I say?” These are just some of the most common questions parents raise. Actually, the problem usually relies on parents. Join our first Parents – Children Communication Worskop led by You Xiaoting, psychological counselor, on Friday, June 26th.

亲子沟通直接关系着亲子关系的好坏亲疏，对幼儿的成长有着至关重要的影响。很多家长困惑：如何跟孩子沟通？为什么我说什么他就是不听？其实，亲子沟通障碍的症结往往不在孩子，而在家长。为了让家长认识到亲子沟通的重要性，学习与幼儿建立良好沟通的方法，6月26日下午，HQIS邀请国家二级心理咨询师游小挺老师来为家长们开展主题为“亲子沟通工作坊”的亲子大讲堂。

Parents are invited to participate in this lecture about Positive Discipline. Mr. Roel N. Cruijff, HQIS Early Childhood coordinator, and Mr. Hao Fang, will talk about the benefits of Positive Discipline.
为了更好地帮助家长们理解正面管教在家庭的运用，我们邀请到我校幼儿部主管以及美国正面管教认证讲师郝放老师带领幼小部家长们领略正面管教的魅力。
What is Positive Discipline?
什么是正面管教？
Positive discipline is an effective education method that consists in disciplining children without punishments or excessive strictness. It helps parents and teachers to create a kind and firm, fair and respectful nurturing attitude, by inspiring, encouraging, connecting, focusing on solutions, and more, in order to develop self-discipline, self-confidence, responsibility, cooperation and problem-solving skills beneficial to kids.
正面管教的英文是Positive Discipline，简称PD。正面管教是一种既不惩罚也不骄纵的有效管教孩子的方法，它帮助家长和老师们建立一种和善而坚定、平等而尊重的养育态度，通过启发、鼓励、连接、关注解决方案等方法，来培养自律、自信、责任感、合作以及解决问题的能力等使孩子受益终身的社会技能和良好的品格。
