Today, we invite the performers of the concert to come and tell us in advance the highlights of this concert.
Hello, everyone, I am in 12th grade Anthony, I am in 12th grade Alfred. I think that the band has a lot of new members to join this concert this time on the same stage, you can look forward to that.
When did you start to prepare and how?
I started preparing for the first ensemble at the beginning of school, practicing at least one hour a day.
Anthony Lin: 0000000000000
But in fact, some of the repertoires have been prepared since the last semester. This program will also be the finale of our performance. Compared with the previous, this performance will be more wonderful.
Anthony has already appeared in school concerts for many times. Is there any special experience? What is your favorite and why?
In fact, everyone starts from scratch, thanks to Dr. Nikita we can achieve that much. My favorite one in this concert, you will find Chinese elements in that, as for the name of the performance, I believe you definitely know it the moment you hear it, and there must be a "wow" feeling at that time, please wait and see!
Your band has achieved good results in many music performances on and off campus. How do you manage your band?
In fact, most of the members want to join the band themselves. There are also many difficulties in the daily contact. For example, some students are not very strong in rhythm. In their spare time, we will correct some problems together in the piano room, and also deepen our connections.
Just mentioned Dr. Nikita, please describe your teacher in one sentence.
Dr. Nikita is a very dedicated teacher. He is a real overtime mad from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm every day, and Dr. Nikita's character is very nice, and you can see he is always doing music-related things.
Would you say you will further study music in the future and what is your plan?
Anthony Lin:
I personally love music very much. In the future, I will definitely choose it as my major.
Although I have not chosen music major to continue my studies in the future, it will be an important part in my life.
It’s enough for us that we can enjoy doing music throughout the life.

Danny
Why would you choose the work behind the scenes?
Apollo Cai:
Actually, when I first came to school, I was an actor, but I found this stage to be the stage of the most advanced equipment I have ever enjoyed. I enjoy the time in the spotlight, and at the same time I enjoy using my ability to shine the brilliance of others. Compared to the king on the stage, I prefer to be the one behind the king.
In fact, you have participated in a series of previous performances. So how do you see your progress?
Apollo Cai:
I am very grateful to the school for providing me with a platform that gives me a real chance to enter the control room because I know that there are only a handful of students who can enter the control room. As a member of the control room, I need to help everyone enjoy this process. In fact, it is not required that every performance can be foolproof. Everyone behind the scenes can enjoy this process. I think this is the most important thing.
You are in the 12th grade this year, will you apply for the related direction?
Apollo Cai:
I will not apply for the direction of the theater but I think that a series of skills developed in the theater, including management, coordination, and organizational skills must be very useful in my future life because no matter what stage, it is very important to manage communication skills with people .
Danny
How long have you been studying vocal music?
Ruby He: Actually, I started studying professional vocal music from last September, and it is also my main goal.
What do you think of Dr. Nikita, how does he help you?
He helps me a lot, gave me a lot of encouragement, and he has special research in his professional knowledge. We can understand the theoretical knowledge and practice techniques well. I learned a lot, and we all think he is a very good music teacher.
It’s my first time to perform in a concert, I feel a bit nervous due to lack of experience, also it is my first time to play xylophone, I really want to say thank you to Dr. Nikita, for his guidance and encouragement which helps me improve a lot.
I will play cymbal, which really plays an important role of rhythm control, but thanks to Dr. Nikita’s continuous help during our practice time using his own teaching method, I think we’ve been achieving a lot since the very beginning.
