农历的正月十五，是中国传统节日元宵节。正月之夜为“宵”，而十五又是一年中的第一个月圆之夜，所以称正月十五元宵节，又称为“上元节”。

The 15th day of the lunar calendar is theLantern Festival, a traditional Chinese festival. The night of the first lunarmonth of the year is "Xiao", and the 15th day is the first full moon night of the year. Therefore, the 15th day is calledLantern Festival, also known as the "Shangyuan Festival".

犹记得上学期末，大家还在热烈的讨论今年的元宵节怎么过，开学后有很多孩子无法回家，学校安排了元宵节活动，程校长要包饺子给大家吃。程校是北方人，在德英乐包饺子可是一绝，大家纷纷期待今年的元宵节。因为疫情，今年元宵和家人一起渡过。所有德英乐的孩子们在不远的将来要奔赴海外求学，能留给家人的元宵节，屈指可数！我们就好好珍惜与父母相聚的日子，珍惜在家的每个节日。

Calling to mind, we were still discussing how tocelebrate this Lantern Festival at the end of last semester. Because many students couldn't go home after the term begins,we arranged the activities of Lantern Festival. And Ms. Agnes planed to make dumplings for students to celebrate.She comes from northern China who makes one of the most deliciousdumplings in SDA. Everyone is looking forward to the Lantern Festival thisyear. We spend this Lantern Festival with our families because of the epidemic. In the future, all the students of SDA will study aboard. There are only a handful of Lantern Festivals that students can spend with their families. So please cherish the moments we spend with our parents.
