Knowing your children’s needs is essential. HQIS organized three Parents-Children Workshops to help our families better understand the psychological needs of their children during the stages of their growth.
为了帮助家长深入了解孩子的心理状况，从而引导孩子良好的情绪，我校近期将推出3场HQIS亲子大讲堂系列讲座。
Last Friday, we invited You Xiaoting, a national second-level psychological counselor, to lead our first workshop about parents-children Communication.
上周五，我们特别邀请到了国家二级心理咨询师游小挺老师为家长们带来了一场精彩的亲子沟通工作坊。

The two-hour lecture was absolutely enriching, Ms. You let parents realize the importance of parent-child communication, with particular attention to aspects such as choosing the right words, children’s needs and perspectives. The interaction with parents was extremely edifying and positive, and Ms. You shared many very practical and good ways to establish effective communication with children. What is Positive Discipline?
什么是正面管教？
Positive discipline is an effective education method that consists in disciplining children without punishments or excessive strictness. It helps parents and teachers to create a kind and firm, fair and respectful nurturing attitude, by inspiring, encouraging, connecting, focusing on solutions, and more, in order to develop self-discipline, self-confidence, responsibility, cooperation and problem-solving skills beneficial to kids.
正面管教的英文是Positive Discipline，简称PD。正面管教是一种既不惩罚也不骄纵的有效管教孩子的方法，它帮助家长和老师们建立一种和善而坚定、平等而尊重的养育态度，通过启发、鼓励、连接、关注解决方案等方法，来培养自律、自信、责任感、合作以及解决问题的能力等使孩子受益终身的社会技能和良好的品格。
