2020年开年就遇到了很多事情,无论是曾经谈新冠色变的我们,还是现在谈新冠迷茫的海外各国人都面临着的境况。海内外的同学们高度的同步,大家都在网课打卡中。有些家长与同学们感到焦躁不安但面临全人类的危机来到时,我们要如何自处?岁月很长,我们终将度过这次危机,这次疫情中的点点滴滴很快会成为我们记忆中的一部分;人生很短,我们与其焦虑担忧着,不如把生活的重心放在和家人快乐地过好每一天。


北京市房山区诺德安达学校也关注着学生在此期间的心理健康。我们对家长与学生的焦虑感同身受。我们希望每一名北京诺德安达的学生都能愉快学习,快乐成长。希望我们梳理的这6点保持乐观的建议能帮助大家。

At the beginning of the year of 2020, we have encountered many things, whether we have talked about the change of the new crown color, or now talk about the new crown confused overseas people are facing the situation. Students at home and abroad are highly synchronized, everyone is in the network course punch card. Some parents and students are anxious but how do we deal with the crisis of the human race? The years are long. We will get through this crisis. Life is so short that instead of worrying and worrying, we should focus on living each day happily with our families.

了解切身感受 

Acknowledge Your Own Feelings

你是否感到不安和压力?是否有消极的想法在你的脑海里翻腾?缺乏常规是否会导致家庭的混乱和焦虑,并放大现有的消极情绪?如果是这样,这是正常的,也是一个具有挑战性的情况的重要组成部分。


承认自己的感受我们原始的本能反应,冻结,战斗或逃跑,把我们带入生存模式,可以阻挡任何理性的思考。在这一点上,我们必须停止和承认“消极”思想,我们必须把它们带入我们的意识,并找到积极的,无论大小。是时候把注意力放在这些积极的想法上了,因为当你看到不断变化的大画面时,其他的选择是很难处理的。


你对考试感到紧张吗?你的身体和思想告诉你什么?把它带入你的意识并接受它。然后组织起来,集中注意力,开始行动!重要的是要承认消极的一面,然后迅速变得积极。

Are you feeling unsettled and stressed? Are there negative thoughts bouncing around in your head?  Is the lack of routine causing disorder and anxiety in the family, and amplifying existing negativity?If so, this is normal and it’s an important part of a challenging situation.


Our raw instinctive reactions, freeze, fight or flight, put us into survival mode and can block out any rational thinking. At this point we must stop and acknowledge the ‘negative’ thoughts, we must bring them into our awareness and find the positives, however big or small. It’s time to focus on these positive thoughts because the alternative is far more difficult to deal with when looking at the ever-changing big picture.

 

Are you nervous about exams? What’s your body and mind telling you? Bring it into your awareness and accept it. Then get organised, get focused, get going!  It’s important to acknowledge the negative and then quickly get proactive.

寻找积极的一面 

Seek Out the Positive

外面有那么多积极的东西,但有时你可能不得不去寻找。我总是努力让自己身边围绕着积极的人和想法,无论这些想法多么渺小。我喜欢社交媒体,因为它能让我们与世界各地的好朋友和同学保持联系。


然而,限制在微信聊天室的时间,这些聊天室只关注消极的东西,并不能真正给你带来积极有用的想法。了解情况,保持好奇心,但不要参与消极的对话。

There are so many positives out there but sometimes you might have to seek it out.  I always try and surround myself with positive people and ideas, however small. I enjoy social media as it allows us to keep in touch with our great friends and classmates around the world.

 

However, I recommend you limit the amount of time in WeChat chatrooms that focus on the negative and don’t really give you positive useful ideas.  Be informed, be curious but don't engage in the negative conversations.

建立你的新习惯 

Set Up Your New Routine

没有更多的日常学校生活,你的日常生活被打乱了。我们必须适应。你可以设置一个新的生活习惯。你需要让这个例行工作为你而生,因为最终你要为你自己的成功负责。你的老师和父母会指导你,但是你知道,在学校,我们希望大家成为独立的学习者,所以你要有所有必要的工具来完成你想做的事情。


制定一个计划——你想要实现什么目标,你想和谁一起合作,你要达到什么期限或里程碑,你想要确定什么学习目标。你今天有什么积极的打算?

With no more school your routine has been disrupted.  We must adapt. You can set a new one.  You need to make this routine work for you because ultimately you are responsible for your own success. Your teachers and parents will guide you but you know at school we create independent learners so you have all the tools necessary to get what you want to done.

 

Make a plan - what do you want to achieve, who do you want to work with, what deadline or milestones are you going to hit,  what learning objectives do you want to nail how are you going to reward yourself when you get there? What is your positive intention for the day?  Why don’t I start the day with a Mr. Devonish work out – now that’s a positive idea!

恢复和充电 

Restore and recharge

在运动中,就像在生活中一样,积极地休息和恢复和短跑一样重要。人们充电的方式各有不同。对我来说,当面对一个具有挑战性的情况时,有时我想和人们在一起,分享想法,谈论它。和其他积极的人在一起能受到激励,感到放松。


还有一些时候,通常是在晚上,我想要更多的思考,花一些“自我”时间。人们花时间独处是可以的,但如果每个人都呆在家里,那就很难了。敞开心扉,和别人谈谈为什么有时候你需要一些放松的时间来充电。他们很可能理解。甚至有一些很棒的引导冥想或瑜伽应用程序,所以为什么不尝试一些新的东西呢?你又有什么损失呢?

In sports as in life actively resting and recovering is as important as the sprint itself. People recharge their batteries in different ways. For me, when facing a challenging situation, there are times when I want to be with people and I want to share ideas and talk about it.  Being with other positive people inspires me and puts me at ease.

 

There are other times, usually later at night when I want to be more reflective and take some ‘me’ time. It’s OK for people to take ‘me’ time but it can be difficult with everyone at home.  Be open and talk to people about why you sometimes need some moments of chill out time to recharge. They may well understand.  There are even some great guided meditation or yoga apps out there so why not give something new a try? What have you got to lose?

此时此刻是你人生旅途的一部分,是你的挑战,当你保持乐观,你会变得更强大、更聪明、更健康。在这段时间里,你会了解自己,测试自己,和对你重要的积极的人在一起。回顾你的大目标,开始采取小而积极的步骤来实现你的目标。总是保持积极的态度,保证安全,永不放弃。
