Tanja出生在德国，在澳大利亚悉尼长大，取得了悉尼大学教育学学士学位。Tanja是一个名副其实的“世界教师”，曾在全球范围内的15所国际学校教学，比如英国伦敦Northside小学, 位于法国巴黎的美国学校，以及香港维多利亚国际幼儿园。她曾担任过开罗英语学校小学部副校长，非常熟悉英式课程的教学内容和要求，对于国际公认的国际小学课程（IPC）和国际预科证书课程小学项目（IB PYP）有丰富的教学经验。Tanja热爱教学，为能看见孩子们在一年中，所能取得的惊人进步而感到高兴。

工作之余Tanja喜欢阅读以及制作不同类型的工艺品。她特别喜欢折纸，还自学了钩针编织。Tanja会为学生制作不同的手工艺品辅助教学，而很多家长和朋友也都会把Tanja的作品当做收藏品。

Tanja：对我而言，在一所全新的学校工作，为学校的发展建言献策，拥有全新的教学体验是一个千载难逢的机会。诺德安达相信每个孩子的未来充满无限可能，坚持帮助孩子们树立高远的志向，我希望自己能给这些志向高远并未经雕琢的璞玉很多积极的引导。

Tanja：双语教育对于孩子们来说是一项挑战，如果能成功达成学习目标，那带来的收获将会让孩子们受益终生。双语教学的课程可以无缝对接各个年级学生的学习需求，孩子们不仅会在语言的使用能力上有所提高，并且在面对非母语和多元文化环境时，他们能够迅速融入，自由地表达自己，为自己找到一个安全和舒适的空间。

Tanja：我将会和我的同事们一起交流教学经验，取长补短。我会为我的学生们营造一个引人入胜并且充满创造力的课堂，激励每个孩子发展自己的潜能。我也会为孩子们设置很多有趣的挑战项目，让他们在学习新技能的同时享受到学习的乐趣，培养他们对学习的热爱。

Tanja：今年是我在香港教学的第三年。在我看来，中国是一个传统文化与现代价值观完美结合的国家，中国的多元文化发展值得大家探索，我很期待不久就能开始我的探索之旅。对我来说，旅行最好的事情就是更多地了解其他文化，面对我自己的信仰和理解，认识新朋友，拥有令人惊叹的经历。

Tanja：教师之间密切的沟通在教学中是非常必要的，我会和我的合作老师根据每个学生的情况做好详细的教学计划，丰富教学内容。我们也会相互信任，相互倾听彼此对教学的想法和反馈，以确保课程中有一个平衡，并把为学生提供有优质，有趣和富有吸引力的课程为首要目标。

Tanja Sarangdhar

Primary Teacher

Tanja is originally from Germany but did most of her schooling in Sydney, Australia. She holds a Bachelor degree in Primary Education   (Primary Studies)  from the University of Sydney. Tanja has 15 years  teaching experience in different international schools such as Northside Primary School, London, UK, American School of Paris in France, and Victoria International Nursery and Kindergarten in Hong Kong. She has been a Deputy Head of Primary for Cairo English School in Egypt, and she has rich experience with the British Curriculum, IPC, and IB PYP. She enjoys teaching and believes it is wonderful to watch and be part of the amazing progress that children can make during a year.

Tanja loves to read books and make different kinds of crafts. She especially enjoys creating modular origami. She taught herself to crochet, and has  made many toys and puppets for the classroom, parents and her friends.

Tanja: It’s an amazing opportunity to start with a brand new school, to be there at the beginning, and to experience all the exciting new things. Nord Anglia is ambitious for its students, and believes that there is no limit to what they can achieve. I’m so excited to be joining this wonderful family  of schools, to make a difference to the students.

Tanja：Bilingual education can be a challenge, but very rewarding when done successfully. Bilingual teaching allows seamless delivery of the curriculum, where students are able to access the curriculum on all different levels. Students will develop their skills in different languages equally, and enjoy a safe, and comfortable environment, where they can express themselves confidently.

Tanja：I plan to work well together with my peers, to share my experiences, and knowledge, and to learn from other teachers. I will create engaging, creative lessons, that will motivate students to do their best. I want to challenge all the students to do the best they can, to develop their love of learning, and to have fun while developing their skills.

Tanja：This is my third year teaching in Hong Kong. I think China is an amazing mix of ancient and modern values and culture. It is an interesting place to visit, and I’m looking forward to exploring it further. For me, the best thing about travelling is learning more about other cultures, confronting my own beliefs and understanding, meeting new people and having amazing experiences.

Tanja: I would definitely make sure to always communicate properly and respectfully with my co-teachers. Everyone’s ideas should be heard and thought about. Everyone should have a say in what the lessons will be. I would always make sure that everyone is happy and that all problems be solved quickly. I will work hard to ensure that there is a balance in the lessons, and that the planning is delivering quality, fun, and engaging lessons.
