协和高中国际及中国传统食品节 SUIS-GB International Day

我校学生于4月24号举行了国际及中国食品节活动。该活动由我校学生代表自发组织，为12年级毕业生以及我校今年赞助的慈善机构“上海康复之家”筹款。

我校家长及好友都热情地提供帮助与支持。

家委会也参加了这次的食品节活动，负责烧烤吧区域，为家委会的教师感恩基金筹款，同时也为家长和家委会代表提供交流的机会。

上海康复之家-是由一对夫妻筹措的，在2009年成立的一家慈善机构。该机构致力于协助中国当地的福利机构发展, 为需要进行手术矫正畸形的弃婴提供术前及术后看护并且不断努力为宝宝们营造家一般的成长环境, 在满足他们的物质需求的同时, 也尽力满足他们的情感需求和社会需求。

Our students hold the event from 12:30pm until 3:00pmon Friday April 24. This was a Prefect organized afternoon to raise funds forthe prom celebration for our G12 graduation and our school charity this year, ShanghaiHealing Home.

Parents and friends of the school were warmly unitedto support them. The PSG was in attendance manning the BBQ area, raising moneyfor their Teacher Appreciation fund but also to offer a friendly contactbetween parents and their PSG reps.

ShanghaiHealing Home- Founded in 2009 by a husband-wife team,this charity-orphanage-school provides free surgeries for abandoned babies withcleft palate deformities and other correctable medical conditions. Toaccomplish this all-important mission, the Shanghai-based non-profit partnerswith the Chinese Children's Welfare Institute and other medical organizations.
