4月23日 协和高中校外艺术展 SUIS Gubei Art exhibition-23rd April

我校将举办艺术展，庆祝IB艺术学生取得的成绩，欢迎您前来参加，见证他们的成功。

IB视觉艺术学科是一个具有挑战性且有益的课程，旨在培养学生为今后的大学研究做好学术准备。该学科包括学生的独立创作、课题研究、表达自己对艺术理论和历史的批判性观点。我校许多12年级IB学生已被顶尖艺术大学录取，包括爱丁堡大学和伦敦艺术大学。

学生将有机会通过广泛的媒介探索视觉艺术，这些媒介包括：数码摄影、图像处理、印刷制作、绘画、雕塑和纺织品。

令人激动的是，今年我们将于4月23号周四下午6点---下午8:30，上海知名的莫干山路M50创意园区（靠近昌化路）4号楼217室华府艺术空间展示我校11及12年级艺术学生的优秀作品，欢迎家长前往捧场。我们很期待到时与您共同庆祝他们的成功。

我校12年级IB视觉艺术学生有：JessieJiang, Lindsay Song, Pearl Cheung, Jerry Zhou, Jocelyn Chen, Sun Hee Gong,David Ni and Gloria Liu.

我校11年级IB视觉艺术学生有：Lily Qian,Jei Zhou, Marina Zhu, Oscar Chen, Jamie Zhang, Wei Wei Xu, Zane Chang, MargaretBowie, Rachel Chen, Gretel Gu, Vergil Gu, David Huang, Jean Jin, Nina Li,Cynthia Meng, Coco Qiu, Mathilda Tang, Miranda Wang, Tina Wu, Mars Yang, LindaZhang and Eva Zhu.

当天我校音乐学生也会参加展览，进行音乐伴奏。

我们还将展示我校IB学生在拓展论文、知识论以及IB校内评估取得的优秀成绩。

请一定前来参加，度过这个非常特别的夜晚，庆祝学生为世界学术研究和视觉艺术做出的贡献。

SUIS Gubeiis excited to inform you of our exhibition celebrating the success andachievement of DP Visual Arts students.

The VisualArts IB Diploma is a challenging and rewarding course designed to preparestudents for academic study at university. It is involves studentsindependently developing their own artwork, research question and informingtheir ideas with a critical understanding of art theory and history. Many ofour IB grade 12 students have secured university places at some of the topuniversities for the arts including the University of Edinburgh and theUniversity of the Arts London.

Thestudents have an opportunity to explore visual art through a wide range ofmedia including: digital photography, image manipulation, printing making,painting, sculpture and textiles.

We are excited to announce that our talented grade 11 and grade 12 visualarts students will be exhibiting their artwork at a prestigious gallery in theCreative Hub of M50, Shanghai, at the Hua Fu Art Space Room 217 Building 4, 50Mo Gan Shan Lu (Near Chang Hua Lu) on Thursday 23^rd April 6pm –8:30pm at Hua Fu Art Space. SUIS Gubei looks forward to celebratingtheir success with you at that evening.

This exhibition will also include musical accompaniment from the SUIS musicstudents.

We willalso have short presentations to celebrate achievement in the IB extendedessay, Theory of Knowledge and IB Internal Assessments.

Please dojoin us for this very special evening to celebrate the contribution thestudents are making to the world of academic research and the visual arts.
