Introduction

The children of the Grade 3 “B”, Grade 4 “A”, and Grade 5 “O” classes wrote some poems for you to enjoy. When we began, I thought we would be in for long hours editing and piecing together a compilation suitable for publication. However, that was not the case. The children worked diligently over the course of several days to germinate their ideas, plant the seeds and cultivate the fruits of their labor. What you are about to read is solely their work. I am extremely proud of their effort!

My cat is a 

Noisy alarm every morning and night.

My cat is a 

Curious observer watching every flight.

My cat always wants to say,’’

It’s already 6:00, time for my breakfast.”

My cat always wants to say,’’

Look at that thing, what is it? It looks so vast.’’

When I’m sad,

It will jump on my chair and smell me

When it does that,

I’ll become a happy dog swimming in the sea.

When I’m happy,

It’ll miaow,

When this happen,

It mean’s,” Give a massage right now.’’

Whatever happens,

We’ll always be best friend.

Whatever happens,

We’ll do everything together until the end.
