探秘教学直播间，解锁有温度的“云”课堂|Exploring Online Classrooms

小学部的同学们跟随老师详细学习了新型冠状病毒，在观看了和疫情相关的新闻和纪录片之后，以不同形式进行了创作，为中国加油！

The primary students learnt the details about the new coronavirus with their teachers. After watching news and documentaries related to the epidemic, they created many works in different forms to cheer for China!

6年级的同学在听完Cherry老师带来的冠状病毒的科学普及课之后，完成了科学小报的制作。

在经过上课听讲，资料收集，小报创造的过程后，Jessica同学有了新的体会：如果没有科学技术，我们就没办法确切统计确诊病例，也没法治疗病人，是科学推动了人类社会的进步，没有科学，就没有我们的今天。

Edison同学也意识到了用知识保护自己的重要性：学习科学知识非常重要，因为只有了解了病毒的特征结构，和感染人体的过程，我们才不会恐慌，不会过度地采取消毒措施而导致副作用。

After listening to Ms. Cherry's science class on coronavirus, the G6 students made many fantastic science posters to demonstrate their thoughts. 

Jessica got new inspiration from the class: “without science and technology, we would not be able to accurately count the confirmed cases and treat the patients. It is science that promotes the progress of human society. Without science, we would not be where we are today”. 

Edison: “it's important to learn about science. If we understand the structure of the virus and how it infects the human body, we won’t be made to panic to over-sterilize and have side effects”.

永远保持好奇心。宅在家的同学们，完成了一些有趣的、安全的的小实验，并通过网络进行分享。

Always be curious. Students who stay at home have completed some interesting and safe experiments and shared them through the Internet.

同学们在阅读专业文献及对不同口罩的研究后，完成了小论文。

After reading the professional literature and studying the different masks, students finished their essays.

Cele老师以冠状病毒和野生动物为题，鼓励孩子们去思考我们与自然的关系。老师也感叹：通过这次作业，还意外挖掘到了孩子们隐藏的制图能力！

Based on the theme of coronavirus and wildlife, Mr. Cele encouraged the students to think about the relationship between human and nature.

六年级的数学课堂里，同学需要收集近期不断变化的各项统计数字，运用所学的有理数加减等混合计算知识，绘制出近阶段疫情走向图，观测疫情防控形势，从实践中增强统计意识，感受统计知识在现实生活中的广泛应用和科学决策中的重要作用。

In the mathematics classroom, G6 students collected the recent statistics, adopted the rational number of mixed computing knowledge such as add and subtract, drew the epidemic trend diagram and observed the epidemic situation. They enhanced the consciousness of statistics from practice and learnt that the statistical knowledge is widely used in real life.

因为Karl的老师一个关于“学校是否需要开设环境气候课程？”的问题，引起了同学们积极的留言。Christal老师以此为题，在“云”班会上开展了一次有趣的辩论课。

Mr. Karl put forward the topic: "do schools need to teach environmental climate?" Many students left positive messages. Ms. Christal took this opportunity to hold an interesting debate in the online class meeting.

高中同学们为我们自导自演了一出精彩的“冠状病毒小课堂”。

High school students directed and performed a wonderful "epidemic theater" for us.

这个学期，对于老师来说，十分特殊。他们有了好多新的角色。

闪亮“主播”

习惯了三尺讲台的老师们，现在每天早上起床第一件事，就是打开teams，回复学生的留言，检查孩子们的作业，在摄像头前和同学们积极互动，在课后收集反馈，召开工作会议，对每一天的教学工作都进行及时的复盘和改良。

作为云课堂的引领者，让我们像每一个在镜头前发光发热的新手主播们说一句：老师，辛苦了！

辛勤“客服”

上周六的校园里，寂静的校园里却人头攒动。体育馆内，一群人正在埋头打包着同学们在新学期要使用的教材和文具。这些人大家都不陌生，有校长，有老师，有学校的行政员工…老师们流水线作业，分工明确，有的负责打印快递单，有的负责包装。一天的工夫，全校1-12个年级，1700多个学生的教材都打包完毕，准备运送。

This semester is very special for teachers for they must get adapted to various new characters.

The shining hosts

For our teachers, who usually teach behind the platform, now the first thing they do after getting up is to open “Teams”, replying to students’ messages and checking their homework. During the class, they interact actively with students in front of the camera. After class, they collect the feedback, attend work meetings, make timely reflection and improvement on their teaching every day.

We want to express our gratitude to those dedicated leaders of online classes who now perform as new hosts: thank you so much, dear teachers!

Diligent customer service staff

Last Saturday, a group of people stepped into the quiet campus. In the gym, they are busy packing textbooks and stationery for the coming semester. We are very familiar with them: they are our principals, teachers and admin staff. There was a clear division of labor. Some teachers were responsible for typing receipts while others took charge of packing. In one day, the teaching materials for more than 1,700 students from 12 grades were packed and ready for delivery.

第二天中午，就陆续有家长收到了承载着老师们辛勤汗水的书本。

Thanks to the great efforts of our teachers and staff, at noon of the next day, parents successively received the textbooks.

每天，我们都会对教学大楼、餐厅、宿舍、操场、校车等区域进行专业全面打扫和消毒，不留死角。

NACIS has conducted through cleaning and disinfection to the building, canteen, dormitories, playgrounds and school buses. 

爸爸妈妈们Thanks to out parents

这个寒假，对于每一个爸爸妈妈们，又何尝不是全新的挑战呢？我们一起收获了难得的亲子时光，一起学习，一起运动，一起学会对抗病毒，也一起成长。多年以后，回忆起这个特殊的寒假，一定意义非凡。

For parents, this holiday is also a brand-new challenge. Parents and children learn together，work out together, fight the virus together, and grow up together.

我们已经进入了一个信息化的时代。

作为这个世界未来的建设者，每一个学生都需要提升自己的信息化素养，如何接收信息，甄别信息，传递信息，这都是我们需要掌握的核心技能。这一次的疫情也恰恰给广大师生上了一节意义非凡的“云课堂”。作为未来“云”世界的一员，我们都需要不断精进自我，用我们的行动去践行终身学习的精神，学生如此，家长如此，老师亦是如此。

We have entered an era of information.

As future constructors of the world, every student has the responsibility to enhance their information literacy.  How to receive, identify and deliver information are core skills we need to master. The epidemic this time gives everyone a lesson. As part of the future world, we need to constantly improve ourselves and practice the spirit of lifelong learning with our actions. So do our parents and teachers.
