G1-G3 | 给未来老师的一封信

再过不多时，这一充实而又特殊的学年即将画上圆满的句号，等待着我们的将是一个崭新的学年。回顾过去，展望未来，对新一学年的老师，同学们有什么话想要说吗？在我们的个人成长课上，小朋友们写下了他们对未来老师的话，他们打算把信好好收着，在新学期伊始送给老师。

我们经常打趣说，在星校这个温暖的大家庭中，中外教老师就像是小朋友在学校里的爸爸妈妈。在星校小学一到三年级的奠基课程阶段， 每个班级都由一名中教和一名外教协作包班管理，中外教班主任是孩子们在学习生活、成长路上的引路人。在课堂上，见多识广、睿智的老师们带着学生在知识的太空里漫步。在课余之时，中外教化身为孩子王，拉着小朋友们一起做游戏、进行有趣的活动。这种沉浸式的双语教育环境不仅为学生打下了扎实的中、英文学科基础，也为孩子们营造了一个注重平衡、全人发展的健康成长氛围。

“太阳当空照，花儿对我笑。”一年级的小朋友们刚刚踏入校园时吟唱《上学歌》的画面，仿佛就在昨日。那时我们的星娃们还是那么的稚嫩，那么的懵懵懂懂，是一年级的中外教老师们为孩子们启蒙，开启孩子的认知世界。如今，小朋友们已经完全适应了学校的生活，他们喜爱班级里丰富多彩的活动课程，他们也非常期待在二年级中收货更多的知识和欢乐。

如果你见过我们二年级的星娃们，你会发现他们格外的积极自信、开朗合群，并且已经开始展露出自己的个性色彩。在二年级，我们的中外教们格外关注学生独立人格、情感方面的发展。这不，二年级的星娃们都迫不及待地想要和未来的老师分享他们的性格特点、兴趣爱好、他们喜欢看的书、以及去过的地方等等。

对于三年级的星娃们而言，他们已经圆满完成一到三年级的奠基课程阶段，即将迈向新的台阶。学生们在信中为自己设立了更高的学习目标，规划着自己下一个阶段努力的方向。在三年级，我们的老师们常常鼓励孩子们去探索更广阔的世界，着重于学生多元思辨能力的培养。如今，星娃们的羽翼已然愈加丰盈，他们拥有了更强烈的好奇心和求知欲，期许着能在四年级涉猎更多的领域 ——宇宙，历史，恐龙，地理，机器人…… 

对于未来的老师，小朋友们虽未曾谋面，却已经在脑海中勾勒出他们的模样，一定又是一位可爱可亲、博学多才的良师益友。在星校，我们学得带劲，玩得畅快，我们竭力追逐着梦想。新的一学年，我们已经准备好了，我们要飞得更高更远!

Very soon, the 2019 School Year is about to draw to an end. Reflecting on the past year and looking forward to what is lying ahead, the students wrote a letter to their future teachers in our Personal Growth lesson. They are going to seal the letter and give it to their new teacher at the beginning of the new semester.

At SSBS from Grade 1 to Grade 3, every class is co-taught and co-managed by a Chinese and an expat teacher. At this foundational course stage, our homeroom teachers take up multiple roles - they are the guides who lead the kids to the world of knowledge, they are their counsellors, coaches and best friends.

In those letters, we are very pleased to hear that our students had a fun and fulfilling school year. Grade ones are getting well-adapted to the school life. They wrote in their letters how much they love the school and enjoy the fun course activities. Our confident and gregarious grade two students who have started to show their unique personalities are eager to share with their future teachers about their hobbies and interests, the places they have been and many other things. And our third graders have specified their learning goals in the letter. They are ready to explore the world in a diverse range of fields with greater curiosities and stronger critical thinking abilities.

How wonderful it is that our SSBS students dare to dream bigger and achieve higher. We are so proud of you, and your future teachers will surely be there to help make your dreams come true.
