从2016-2017的秋季学期开始, 尚德国际部IBDP项目新增了心理学标准级（Psychology SL）课程。开学至今的两个月里，心理学班的同学们学习了大量生物心理学方面的知识。作为IB学子，我们认为这门与“人”息息相关的学科，它的知识不应该只停留在书本和课堂里。于是，本着服务社区的精神，我们选取了其中一个十分贴近师生的单元内容，以Self-help Showcase的形式展示了出来。此次Showcase涵盖四个课题：睡眠不足，缺乏动力，阅读困难症和强迫症。

Showcase选在11月7日忙碌而充实的周一，分为中午和下午两场。因为课题的趣味性和关联性，每一场都吸引了众多的老师和同学。通过知识分享和互动交流，我们真切地感受到了这门学科的意义和作用，并希望以后能以类似的方式，将更多有用的知识搬出课堂，来服务我们身边的人。

In one way or another, everyone is mentally weak. By acknowledging and exploring our weakness, we could become a better self, and more, if we share the knowledge of mannerism, or even mal-functioning with people around us, our community becomes a better one. With this mindset, the IBDP Psychology Class hosted the so-called “Self-help Showcase”.

The four topics covered are: Lack of Sleep, Dyslexia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Lack of Motivation. Fortunately, teachers and students from all sections of our department stopped by and passionately discussed with us. Talks ranged from our childhood, parents to the US. presidential election.

IBDP心理学标准级简介

Nature of the Subject学科特征

IB psychology examines the interaction of biological, cognitive and sociocultural influences on human behaviour, thereby adopting an integrative approach. Understanding how psychological knowledge is generated, developed and applied enables students to achieve a greater understanding of themselves and appreciate the diversity of human behaviour. The ethical concerns raised by the methodology and application of psychological research are key considerations in IB psychology.

Syllabus Outline课程大纲

The three levels of analysis focus on three fundamental influences on behaviour:

• biological

• cognitive

• sociocultural.

There are five options.

• Abnormal psychology

• Developmental psychology

• Health psychology

• Psychology of human relationships

• Sport psychology

All three cores are required at both SL and HL levels. But, at SL, one option is required, while HL must study two options.
