With the great anticipation and adequate preparation, Nord Anglia School Nantong officially opened!

Our two principals greeted the students at the school gate and gave flowers to the faculty team. They expressed their thanks to the teachers for their efforts during this special holiday. We will try our best to offer our children an outstanding future.

In the first lesson, the homeroom teachers explained the epidemic prevention knowledge to the class, including epidemic prevention and emergency treatment. We make great effort to ensure the health and safety of each student on campus.

After school opens, teachers will firstly focus on connection between the online teaching and school teaching.

At Nord Anglia, we offer students an education that goes beyond grades, and prepares them to achieve more than they thought possible. During this holiday, our teachers support students to improve their self-management ability and to become independent learners via virtual learning. They can make their own learning plan and analyse the materials.

Although the learning atmosphere online is unlike real classrooms, we believe our virtual school experience will offer more opportunities for children to grow independently. Teachers are continuously monitoring all our virtual school activities to ensure students’ wellbeing is front of mind.  Both national and international teachers work with children to set learning objectives and tasks and to teach them to evaluate their own learning habits.  We believe they will be stronger when they come back to the campus.

As always, school prepares delicious meals for the children, and in order to ensure the safety of dining, each table has been placed on the anti-scum baffles.

Students play and run in the outside stadium, laughter overflows the campus. 

After school, self-study of boarding students is in an orderly manner.

In the dormitory, the English listening and reading programme for primary school students is also carried out consciously.

To ensure the health and safety of boarding students, the school adopts the following measures:

* students should wash their hands at the door of the dormitory every afternoon when they return to the dormitory.

* fresh air system and air purifier keep working for the whole day;

* before going to bed, the house master will take temperature for all the students;

* every morning, students are not allowed to leave the dormitory until their body temperature is taken and their physical condition is checked;

* the cleaning aunt disinfects and cleans the students' rooms with disinfectant every day.
