虽说把学习搬到了线上，但热爱表达的协和学子日常打磨英语口语能力也绝不含糊。先锋班各年级在不同的探究主题中尽情遨游，时而将成长心路历程娓娓道来，时而穿梭时空品味老上海美食，时而摇身一变成了撒马尔罕的小商人。当然，除了表达，我们还有更多需要探索的东西，下周即将登场的是精英班的宅家口语秀，敬请期待吧！
Although learning is at a distance now, the SUISers, who love expressing themselves, did not stop practicing their oral English. All grades’ students of Pioneer Stream enjoy their journeys in different inquiry topics, sometimes they will talk about their unique journey of growing up (Grade 1 My Timeline), sometimes they will travel through time and space to taste the traditional Shanghai cuisine (Grade 2 Old Shanghai), and sometimes they will become a small businessman in Samarkand (Grade 4 Ancient Asia). Of course, in addition to expressive experiences, we have more things to explore. The next week will be the“Oral Show” from the Local Stream students, so stay tuned!

这边唇枪舌剑话音未落，那边想象力爆棚的小作家们都已严阵以待。没错，2020年先锋班英语创意写作比赛又将启动啦！5月18日开始，二三年级可以在云端上传作品，四五年级则回到校园提交纸质稿，千万不要错过交稿时间哦！经过评委老师的仔细品读，优秀作品将有机会制作成电子书与全校同学一起分享，更能获得独家订制版SUIS纪念品一份，赶快行动吧！
Creative and imaginative SUIS writers, are you ready？That's right, this year's Pioneer English Creative Writing Competition will happen again! From May 18th, the second and third grades can upload their works online, and the fourth and fifth grades will return to the campus to submit paper writing. Don't miss the deadline! After careful reading by the judges, the excellent works will be made into an e-book and shared with all the students in the school. You can also get an exclusive customized SUIS souvenir. Hurry up!

The school uniform inheritance initiative has been in full swing on the campus for 3 years. Through the recycling, cleaning and sorting of old school uniforms, they provide students with free replacement and give the uniform a “second life”. If you have school uniforms that you can’t wear, you may as well put them in a special clothing recycling bin on campus to add a touch of “green” to life with simple actions.
协励杰出师德奖评选即将开始
对协和园丁而言，最为神圣的一项荣誉，就是一年一度的“协励杰出师德奖”。回顾过去11年获奖历程，几十张熟悉而又亲切的笑脸令我们难忘，是他们用爱与责任诠释着教书育人的初心。
One of the most honorable awards for SUIS teachers is the annual“ Xieli Teachers’Awards". Looking back on the award-winning journey of the past 11 years, dozens of familiar and friendly smiles make it unforgettable. It is their interpretation for being true to original aspiration of teaching and educating people with love and responsibility.
5月初，第十二届“协励杰出师德奖”评选活动即将拉开序幕！在这个特殊的学期，我们的评比将在线上进行，期待家长和同学们积极参与评选。如果，你感受到老师日以继夜的用心教导，你体会到校园里食堂员工的一丝不苟、保安保洁的辛苦工作、或是校车司机的认真负责……那就赶紧记下他们的名字，投出你宝贵的一票吧！
At the beginning of May, the selection of the 12th "Xieli Teachers’ Awards" will begin soon! In this special semester, our election will be done online, and we look forward to parents and students actively participating in the selection. Mum is always the worrying person in a family. She is always busy but still keeps encouraging us to improve and accompany us while we grow up. Mother’s Day is just around the corner, SUISers “sing out” their love to their Mum. Thank you Mums for your selfless caring. Wish you always be young! Happy Mothers' Day!
