汉字真有趣 Chinese Characters are Interesting

“早上好，同学们，在开始今天的语文课前，老师先考考你们一个关于文学的问题，坐在屏幕前的哪位同学可以说出中国古代四大名著的书名？”

“老师，我知道，我知道，是《水浒传》、《西游记》、《三国演义》和《红楼梦》。”

“嗯嗯，这位同学回答的非常棒！没错，今天我们学习的内容就是关于四大名著的成语和歇后语。老师先给大家举几个例子：火眼金睛、三顾茅庐、逼上梁山，还有刘备借荆州-有借无还；猪八戒照镜子-里外不是人。大家知道这些成语和歇后语的出处吗？”

“Good Morning, everyone, before getting started, I would like to ask you a literature-related question. Does any of you familiar with The Four Great Classical Novels?”

“Yes, teacher, I know the answers, which are Water Margin, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West, and Dream of the Red Chamber.”

“Exactly, well done! For today’s lesson, we are going to learn idioms and allusions that are originated from The Four Great Classical Novels. I will give you some examples and please be ready to answer their sources.

上周，五年级的同学们上了一堂非常有意思的线上语文课，老师从成语和歇后语作为切入点，让孩子们初步感知四大名著的魅力。同学们被汉字的魅力深深吸引之后，在课后他们还各自创作了独一无二的作品集。

Last week, Grade 5 students took a fun and meaningful Chinese lesson, of which the theme is idiom and allusions of The Four Great Classical Novels. Students are attracted by the Chinese characters, and they created their own unique artworks.

除此之外，老师还以“动物是我们的朋友”为主题，让孩子们思考和讨论关于动物的成语、歇后语、诗句等。

In addition, students were also encouraged to think and discuss the idioms, allusion, and poets about the theme “Animals are Our Friends”. 

中国文化博大精深，汉字更是其中精髓。在宁波诺德安达线上课程中，老师以四大名著和动物为背景，为孩子们学习汉字创造了有趣而又生动的学习氛围，强化了孩子们汉字含义的理解。成语和歇后语的学习，更让孩子们感受到汉语的节奏和韵律感，背后的故事，也让他们对动物世界甚至整个大自然提起了极大兴趣。

Chinese culture is profound and especially the Chinese characters. During NAS Ningbo’s E-Learning, teachers use The Four Great Classical Novels and animals as study themes to create interesting study atmosphere. Learning idioms and allusions which increases students’ passion of exploring the nature.

一堂线上语文课，孩子们不仅加深了对中国语言文化的理解，更提高了对自然和世界探索的积极性。

Not only the online Chinese lesson deepened students’ understanding of Chinese language and culture, but also their enthusiasm of exploring the nature and the world has been increased.
