The Department of College Counseling at HQIS is aimed at assisting students in reaching their full potential and achieving their college goals. Our plan is to provide students with information, resources, and enrichment opportunities that could serve as strong precollege guidance, raise college awareness at early stage, encourage early planning, and help students develop soft skills that are essential for professional development.

Learning engineering is the systematic application of principles from the learning sciences, it combines skills from engineering and systems, thinking with knowledge of learning sciences and psychology to design, build, and study new learning technologies. Dr. Smith shared with us what learning engineers do, where they work and how engineering is useful not only for a professional career, but also for personal development and growth. You will understand why studying engineering is definitely worth and why it is a bridge to the world of work.
