1.IGCSE English-First Language

n Cambridge IGCSE First Language English is designed for learners whose first language is English.Cambridge IGCSE First Language English learners develop the ability to communicate clearly,accurately and effectively in both speech and writing.They learn how to employ a wide-ranging vocabulary,use correct grammar,spelling and punctuation,and develop a personal style and an awareness of the audience being addressed.Learners are also encouraged to read widely,both for their own enjoyment and to further their awareness of the ways in which English can be used.Cambridge IGCSE First Language English also develops more general analysis and communication skills such as synthesis,inference,and the ability to order facts and present opinions effectively.

2.IGCSE English-Literature

n This enables learners to read,interpret and evaluate texts through the study of literature in English.Learners develop an understanding of literal meaning,relevant contexts and of the deeper themes or attitudes that may be expressed.Through their studies,they learn to recognise and appreciate the ways in which writers use English to achieve a range of effects,and will be able to present an informed,personal response to the material they have studied.It also encourages the exploration of wider and universal issues,promoting learners'better understanding of themselves and of the world around them.

2.IGCSE英语――文学

3.IGCSE英语――英语作为第二语言

IGCSE：英语（英语作为第二语言）是对已经具备一定英语基础的学员所开设的。通过进一步的学习，提升英语技能，为今后的学术、事业发展做更好的准备。内容涉及教育、商业、娱乐等多方面，学习者最终掌握英语日常会话和深层次的英语理解力、表达力。

4.IGCSE English-Second Language(count-in oral)

n Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language(count-in oral)is the same as Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language with the exception of the oral component.In Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language(count-in oral),the marks for the oral component contribute to the overall grade.

4.IGCSE英语――英语作为第二语言（含口语）

除了增加的口语部分，该课程与上述课程（IGCSE英语――英语作为第二语言）相同。口语成绩计入整科考试成绩。

5.A&AS Level English-Language AS Level(until 2013)

n Cambridge International AS Level English is designed for learners who can already communicate effectively in English as it may be their first or second language.The Cambridge International AS Level English enables learners to achieve greater fluency,accuracy and confidence in the language as it is spoken and written,and improve their communication skills.They will learn how to improve their use of English in a variety of situations,understanding how to read texts and other source materials,and how to extract information,initiate conversations and respond to questions both orally and in writing.

5.A&AS Level英语

AS级别的英语课程适合于英语作为母语或外语的学员，而且学员已经具备较高的英语水平。该课程帮助学员进阶英语口语和书面语的熟练度、度和自信心。在口语和书面语两方面，学员懂得如何选用符合场景的语言；通过上下文的阅读提取信息，能够主动发起会话，回答提问。

6.A&AS Level English-Language AS and A Level(from 2014)

n Cambridge International AS and A Level English Language gives learners the opportunity to study English language and its use in contemporary communication.It aims to encourage a critical response to texts in a range of forms,styles and contexts,and to promote skills of communication,reading,research and analysis.Through their study,learners will develop an ability to read and analyse material,gaining further knowledge and understanding of English language features and issues,and writing clearly,accurately,creatively and effectively for different purposes and audiences.

6.A&AS Level英语

通过该课程的学习，学员掌握现代英语的表示法，理解各种体裁、题材的文本内容，进阶交流、阅读、信息检索和分析能力。此外，学员掌握更深的英语语言特性，对于不同的目的和受众，都能进行清晰准确、新颖有效的书面表达。

7.A&AS Level English-Literature

n Learners following the Cambridge International AS and A Level English will study a range of texts in the three main forms:prose,poetry and drama.Set texts are ed from a wide range of different periods and cultures.Learners will develop skills of reading and analysis of texts,and are encouraged to undertake wider reading to aid understanding of the texts studied.They will learn skills of effective and appropriate communication including the ability to discuss the critical context of texts.

7.A&AS Level英语――文学

该课程学员主要学习三种形式的文学：散文、诗歌和戏剧。作品来自各个时代不同的文化背景。学习者通过阅读理解各类文学作品，进阶欣赏、分析文本的能力，并运用适合的语言交流作品中的引申涵义。
