“线”上花开，将宅家认真学习进行到底 | The Second Semester 2019-2020 SUIS TV Ⅳ

不知不觉，4周的“非常学习”悄然过去，老师将面对面的课堂搬到了线上，用心打磨各种好玩又能涨知识的授课形式，令屏幕另一头的同学们大呼过瘾。

We are now in our 4th week of remote learning. Our teachers have been “moving” their classes to the internet and demonstrating their dedication to making sure children, from the other side of the screen, are learning and gaining from their attractive and fun teaching.

语文课上，我们与同伴在线共读，线下勤练毛笔字，满满的“阅读记录卡”装载着我们与好书相伴的日子；当我们玩转七巧板，就地取材测算面积，突然发现数学和生活如此密不可分。

In Chinese lessons, we read online with our classmates, practice calligraphy during leisure time, and loaded our “home reading record” days with good books. When we played jigsaw puzzles and measured the area on the spot, in a sudden we realized that Maths is used everywhere in our lives.

英语在线辩论上演了久违的舌战群儒，宅家英语时装秀让不少老师同学笑破肚皮；更别提那些同学们积极性最高的艺体作业，见证了我们在各个学习领域的成长与喜悦。

For English study, we have not seen such heated online debate for a long time. The online English fashion show was incredibly funny and made teachers and students fall about laughing. Not to mention those students’ most enthusiastic art and PE assignments, all of which witnessed our growth and happiness in the e-learning journey.

民间艺术之旅又启程啦！这一站，我们认识了世界各地的民间纤维艺术品：墨西哥印第安人将大自然编织在裙子里，穿着在身体上；乌克兰的民间刺绣中有着张扬灿烂的色彩表达；随着科技日益发达，机器和人的合作将在未来发展出有创造力的全新民间艺术。而到了现当代，纤维艺术品也成就了许多艺术家的创作灵感。

The folk art journey will begin again! At this stop, we met folk fiber artworks from all over the world: Mexican Indians weave “nature” in skirts for wearing and Ukrainian folk embroidery has a bright and brilliant expression of colour. With the development of technology, the cooperation between machines and humans will develop creative new folk art in the future. In modern and contemporary times, fiber artworks have also inspired many artists.
