返校学生家长会，答疑核心问题| Parents Meeting for Returning

诺德安达学校十分重视家校合作、家校共建，而家长会一直是学校践行家校沟通与交流的方式之一。在返校复课准备工作紧张有序地展开中，我校多措并举护航孩子们顺利开学。

上周，我校铁艳校长与学生事务主任武老师特地组织了线上家长会，针对6月1日即将返校的6、7、8、10年级学生的复课工作与家长们进行了全面交流与深度沟通。

The meeting mainly communicated on the following aspects:

• Preparations for backing to school.
  

• The home-school collaboration help to complete students' psychological and physiological transformation when they come back and be in classes.
  

• The courses after the resumption of classes and the schedules for the accommodation students.
  

Grace Tie and Dean Wu answered the questions left by parents:

1. After returning on June 1st, can the accommodation students return to school on time?

Accommodation students can go back to school on time according to the requirements, and both the school and dormitories will be fully closed.

2. How many people are allowed to live in each dormitory after returning? Will there be any changes? Is the dormitory divided by grade?

According to the requirements of the Education Commission, our dormitory is required to meet the epidemic prevention requirements. There will be four students live in each dormitory.

Dormitory will be arranged according to the same grade and dormitory rules this year.

3. If the students have many luggage, are there teachers to help carry?

After the returning, the school will close completely, and parents could not enter. If the student have more than one piece of luggage, we will arrange teachers to help label the luggage with their names, and send them to the dormitory. We advise parents to reduce students' luggage and classify the items.

4. Do students need to wear masks in PE class？

If there is only one class for PE class or there is no strenuous activity, masks may not be worn in principle. However, when the PE teacher explains sports methods, students need to wear masks. Whether students need to wear masks or not will be arranged according to the situation.

5. Is Nucleic Acid Detection necessary?

There are four groups of people who needs the test, and can return to school if negative. First one is someone who return to Beijing from Hubei (except Wuhan) after March 25. Second one is someone who return to Beijing from Wuhan after April 8. Third one is someone who return to Beijing from abroad or other places outside Beijing three weeks before the start of school. Fourth one is the teachers and students who have been diagnosed, suspected or asymptomatic infection by themselves or their family members. That is to say, students in grade 6,7,8 and 10, who return to Beijing after May 11 (inclusive) and students of grade 4 and 5 who return to Beijing after May 18 (inclusive) have to do the test before their returning.

Other personnel do not need Nucleic Acid Detection.

6. Will the school provide masks, disinfectants, disinfected cotton sheets and other items for residents?

We will provide students with disinfectant, disinfectant cotton sheets and other items, if parents or students have any special needs, they can bring by themselves. For masks, we suggest parents to prepare the amount for one week. However, if any student’s mask is damaged or missing when they are in school, we will take the safety of the student as priority and replace the mask for the student.

We hope to have in-depth communication with every parent through online meetings, especially at the critical moment when returning to school. And we expect that home-school cooperation will help students return to school safely.
