The New School, Parsons School of Design Portfolio Workshop

The New School (Parsons School of Design) portfolio workshop offered us a further understanding of our path and career options at Parsons. Mrs Guner from Parsons showed us the multiplicity and variety of our artistic pursuit.

As she introduced some of the unusual art projects of Parsons, we were very impressed by a performance art that used a combination of lighting and music to give the audience an entirely different sensory experience.

After viewing these products of creativity, we gained a new vision for the possibility and potential of our future. Mrs Guner also gave us individual portfolio reviews towards the end of the event with professional evaluations. She discussed the importance of layout and text, which could make our portfolios more seamless and insightful. This workshop was of great help to our university and college applications.

此次帕森斯设计学院宣讲会对协和古北十二年级视觉艺术课程的学生们来说是一次难能可贵的机会。来自帕森斯设计学院的老师，Guner女士详细地向我们描绘了未来美术道路的多变性及多样性并重点介绍了该学院若干不同寻常的艺术项目。让我们对未来的学习生涯以及就业情况有了更具体深入的了解。

令在场学生印象最为深刻的是一个行为艺术作品，作者采用了灯光与音乐相结合的方式使得观众在视觉和听觉上有了截然不同的体验。在观赏完这些极具创造力的作品后，我们对未来的深造道路有了新的憧憬。

宣讲会后，老师逐个点评了我们的作品集，给予了学生们极为专业的评价与建议。比如她提及排版以及文字解析的重要性，这可以使我们的作品集看起来更体系化，更有逻辑感，这对我们未来申请大学起到了极大的帮助作用。
