As the bustling start to the first week of classes settled down, our brilliant learners enjoyed a bit of healthy rivalry in SUIS Gubei’s inaugural 2019-2020 House Competition. The competition, hosted and organised by the Blue Sharks, was a huge success with students of all ages enjoying themselves and cheering on their beloved house.

开学第一周，我校的卓越学子们已迅速调整身心，以最好的状态融入校园、开启新学年的学习生活。而由蓝鲨队组织举办的本学年第一场班组竞赛亦顺利进行：全体学生均热情投入并为自己所在的班组摇旗呐喊、助威加油。

An integral part of SUIS Gubei community, house competitions are an event our learners look forward to every year. The excitement and enthusiasm at each competition are palpable. While traditionally these house competitions have predominantly been sports-oriented, SUIS GB will be expanding the events to engage our learners’ creative sides as well with an upcoming house video competition and the always popular house poster competition.

作为协和古北社群活动的重要组成部分，班组竞赛向来备受期待，学生们对参与这一竞赛的激越之情溢于言表。根据学校传统，班组竞赛主要以体育项目为主，而今年开始，我们更将举办班组间的短视频竞赛与海报设计竞赛，力求为所有在校学生挥发创意提供更广阔的舞台。

Under the guidance of our new Head of House Coordinator, Mr Edward, and his team of Heads of House (Ms Rugley, Ms Qu, Mr Hirshall, and Ms Ugolini), the House System will continue to thrive and provide our learners with a fully enriching experience at SUIS Gubei.

在我校新上任的班组事务协调组长Edward老师及其团队（Rugley老师, 屈老师, Hirshall老师以及Ugolini老师）的带领下，我校的班组活动发展一定会焕发出新的生机、更为蓬勃壮大，为全体学生们带来最为丰富快乐的体验。
