I enjoy being part of a new school and help to create an excellent program for our students. Having been in a similar setting in my previous school, and having the Diploma Programme authorized was a meaningful experience that I believe most educators enjoy. The Diploma Programme is a sterling educational path for students everywhere around the world, and as the DP CooWrdinator at Nord Anglia School Jiaxing, I will ensure that our student have access to the best possible education that they can get.

我相信双语教育是理解这个我们所在的不断变化的世界的关键。双语教育打破了边界和界限，允许自己去接触不同的人，了解自己的文化，使他们在不同的环境里更能适应新的挑战。

I believe that bilingual education is the key to understanding global perspectives in this ever-changing world that we live in. Bilingual education breaks border and boundaries, and allow individuals to approach others, understanding their own culture, and making them more adaptable to new challenges, in different settings.

自1990年以来，我一直在世界各地的国际学校任教，这让我对IB课程、AP和IGCSE有了广泛的了解。我在国际教育方面的经验也使得我对于引导学生去创造更美好的世界有了坚定信念，为他们提供能够适应未来所面对的任何新挑战的“工具”。我希望能够把我的信念传递给我们的学生，并帮助他们成为新一代的年轻人。

I have been teaching in international schools around the globe since 1990, and this have given me a vast knowledge of the IB programmes, as well as AP and IGCSE. My experience in international education has supported my strong believe in educating students for a better world, giving them the tools to adapt to any new challenges that the future may bring. I hope to be able to transfer my beliefs to our students and support them in becoming young adults.

我曾在许多国家生活和教学:印度尼西亚、赞比亚、阿根廷、美国、马来西亚、中国和日本。

正如我前面提到的，我过去也曾住在中国(多年前，我在离嘉兴不远的江苏省苏州市教书)，我喜欢中国的文化和充满活力的社会。从那时起，中国就一直在我的脑海里，作为一个我想要回去的国家。

I have lived and taught in many countries: Indonesia, Zambia, Argentina, the US, Malaysia, China, and Japan.

As I mentioned above, I lived in China in the past (I taught in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, not far from Jiaxing, many years ago) and I enjoyed its culture and how dynamic its society is. Since then, China was always on my mind, as a country I wanted to go back to.

As I see it, teaching overseas helps us to understand who we are, and from there on, build strong relationships with others.
