SUIS Gubei Community Event: SUIS Speaks: Refuse & LAMDA Review

This Thursday will be the inaugural SUIS Gubei Community Event (GCE). An opportunity to meet with staff members, this event will also be host to two exciting events: SUIS Speaks: Refuse with Zero Waste Shanghai and a LAMDA Review performed by our very own brilliant dramatists. We encourage you to check out these two wonderful sessions with your children — and staff! More about the two events below.

本周四我们将迎来第一届协和古北社群活动（SUIS Gubei Community Event 简称GCE）。在这一活动中，你不仅可以见到协和古北的所有教职员工，更能参与体验各类精彩项目，譬如本次环保主题的协和古北论坛以及由本校卓越学子带来的伦敦音乐戏剧艺术学院课程表演展示。

我们诚邀各位家长拨冗前来，与学生们、教职员工们同乐，尽享欢畅愉悦的夜晚。以下是活动内容介绍：

Our vision for the future must be a sustainable one. In collaboration with Zero Waste Shanghai, SUIS Speaks is proud to invite guest speaker Paula Cuenca to inspire us to create a better future for ourselves and our children.

Argentinian born Paula Cuenca is an artist, a facilitator, passionate about nature and about sharing experiences to reconnect with each other. She has 10 years of corporate experience working in different industries. She had helped companies to developed new products and close international deals. She currently works in Zero Waste Shanghai in Business Development, as a workshop facilitator and project coordinator.

She advocates to the motto that we can always be and do better. She believes Zero Waste is the real solution to our climate problems.

感谢五R零的Paula Cuenca女士前来担任此次协和古北论坛的演讲嘉宾。坚持可持续发展方能创造更美好未来，当晚Paula Cuenca女士将与大家分享如何为我们的孩子与我们自己创造一个更健康宜居的生存环境。

主讲人介绍：

出生于阿根廷的Paula Cuenca是一位艺术家与活动促进者。她对大自然充满热情，并乐于与外界沟通交流、分享经验。她拥有十余年跨行业工作经验，开发各类项目并促成国际交易。目前Paula Cuenca投身五R零的上海业务发展，担任工作坊推进人与项目协调员。

座右铭：杜绝浪费、废弃物再利用是解决气候问题的唯一可行方法。作为地球居民，我们可以做得更好。

Come see the wonderful acting skills of our brilliant learners! Last April our students sat their examination in acting through the world famous London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and achieved an amazing 75% distinction rate.  They will be performing their monologues and duologues over two sessions in our newly refurbished Black Box Theatre. It is highly recommended for current and potential LAMDA students.

去年四月，我校学生通过了享有盛名的伦敦音乐戏剧艺术学院课程（LAMDA）的表演考试并取得75%优秀率的杰出成绩。在此次古北社群活动中，他们将在学校新建成的黑匣子剧院（二楼多功能厅内）为大家带来独白与对白两种类型的节目。节目精彩切勿错过！尤其是对LAMDA课程感兴趣的家长与学生们！
