As a frequent award winner and author for publications, Daniel is a proud father of four and committed to wearing yellow jumpers, when he is not being a marketing superhero.

诺德安达学生采访节目的首位嘉宾，我们请到了数字营销公司Brainlab的首席执行官Daniel Gilbert先生。他在本期节目中分享了他关于数字营销，以及未来世界的众多观点。

跟随着我们诺德安达同学的提问，Daniel聊到了数字营销的工作如何体现创造性。他认为创造性主要在于你做事和解决问题的方式与别人不同。在他的工作领域中，就体现在如何定义受众，如何利用不同的广告，针对不同的群体，传达不同的信息。

Daniel还分享他了倾向于招聘什么样的员工，这一定是大家更感兴趣的吧。他表示对员工的要求，从以前的科学思维，已经转变成现在看待问题的积极角度，例如可以将遇到的问题理解成为挑战、商机、亦或难得的学习机会。一个人成长为怎样的性格，以及怎样与其他人交流合作，比起他会不会某项技能或工作是否高效，更能够从长远看出他是否能成功。

另外，不论是工作还是生活，Daniel都建议大家要有策略性。这能够帮助你明确什么对你是最重要的。一旦明确了之后，你才可以全神贯注地追逐理想。

节目的最后，Daniel与我们的主持人共同探讨了关于真理的问题。他认为真理并不是唯一的。你可以不同意别人的观点，但并不表示他就是错的。他相信，我们越早能够理解真理不是唯一的，就越早能够拥抱彼此，互相倾听和学习。世界也将变得更加美好。

A SUPERHERO SUIT

As the first genius of our podcast series, Mr. Daniel Gilbert is the CEO of Brainlabs, a successful digital marketing agency, and shared a lot of his insights on digital marketing and the future world.

Following the questions from our students, Daniel first explained what creativity is in his work. He believes that the creativity can apply to how you approach business and solve problems in a different way. In his work it’s how they segment audience and speak to different people in different ways to different ads.

What may be more interesting is what Daniel looks for when hiring people. He said that they used to look for scientific mindsets, whilst they now look for people who see problems as challenges, and opportunities to learn. How you grow as an individual, and how you collaborate with other people, are far more important to indicate a person’s long-term success than, for example, if  they have acquired this technical skill and do it efficiently.

Daniel also suggested that you should have a strategy in life, as well as a strategy in the workplace. It helps you to sort out what’s important and what’s not important to you. Then you will be fully dedicated to what you really want to achieve.

Daniel also discussed the question about truth with our interviewers. In his opinion, it’s not necessarily to have only one truth in this world. You can disagree with someone but they can still be right. He believes that the sooner we understand that there’s not only one answer or one version of truth, the quicker we can embrace our fellow people, listen, learn and engage with them. And the world will be a much better place when we get there.
