G6 | Spirit week！享受校园时光

There’re always many entertainment activities in our intense study environment, which enhance the friendship between students. The Spirit Week from June 1st to the 5th is a great time for all sixth graders. We all enjoy the endless happiness the spirit week brings to us.

Monday was Class Color Day and each class had an exclusive class color. Before Monday, students and teachers had had heated discussion. All classes were boisterous, and everyone was so eager to share their opinions. Finally, Class 1, 3, and 4 all wore black clothes on Monday, which were very cool and showed students’ individualities. Class 2 were dressed in blue, which was a symbol for both calmness and liveliness. Yellow clothing belonged to class 5 and their color was dynamic and sunny. In the meantime, Class 6 were dressed in white, which was bright and caught people’s attention. During the break or after lunch, students stood in rows and took a class photo together. In Class Color Day, students experienced joy in unity, orderliness, and creativity.

Tuesday was Polka Dots Day. With different background colors and unique patterns, the polka dots embellished our colorful school life.

The Crazy Socks Day on Wednesday brought enormous joy to every student. The colors for some students’ socks contrasted distinctly. From black to white, pink to yellow, blue to red—all these interesting matchings fully demonstrated the word “crazy”. Some socks had subtle differences in detail as if they were inducing people to find the difference. Some other creative students made changes in their shoes, which also brought a lot of fun. “Look! He wears black and white socks with black clothes, and a white coat. He looks like a panda!” “Wow! Your socks with the shapes of dinosaurs seem so special. You are still a kid in your inner heart!” Students gathered around, and the laughter filled in the entire corridor. Our enthusiasm for the Spirit Week was even higher on this day.

“What are we going to wear?” “Why not have white for the top, black for the pants with a pair of silver shoes?” “That’s perfect!” There were all sorts of similar discussions coming from each classroom before Thursday. On Matching Day, not only the students, but also the teachers joined the activity. In the hallway, those dressed alike stayed close together for taking photos. Matching Day enhanced friendship between classmates as well as their great interest in this activity.

Happy times drifted away quickly. Here came Friday, the Fan Day! On the campus, we could see enthusiastic fans of sports teams and cosplayers of famous characters passing by. For example, the blue-and-red Barcelona’s jerseys flashed through our eyes. Students who cheered for the Golden State Warriors smiled at each other. People who wore Harry Potter robes with wands holding in hands hurried through…

The Spirit Week has already passed away silently. We still remember the unique activities for each day and the laughter and heated discussion were still echoing in our ears. This activity strengthened our friendship and it made the class more cohesive and the campus culture more diverse. What a meaningful activity!
