     中国诗词大会，是从2016年开始在中央10台播出的益智类节目，而我们学校效仿了这样的一个极具意义的节目，开展了七德第一届诗词大会。目的是为了赏中国诗词，品中华文化之美，让同学们走进古诗词，也通过这样的一次比赛，发掘出了七德的古诗词“大佬”，能够成为七德学子在这方面效仿的目标。竞赛大体上分三轮，初赛，复赛，和全校万众瞩目的决赛。初赛是海选性质，通过笔试在全校范围内进行选拔，选出48强。而复赛第一轮也是文学常识方面的笔试。第二轮则是飞花令，轮流说出包含一个字的诗句。决赛考核形式分别为文学常识必答题、抢答题，个人飞花令，以及最终决出冠军的看图猜诗句抢答题。通过这次竞赛，同学们更加接近了中国诗词文化，从古人的智慧和情怀中汲取营养，涵养心灵。

The Chinese Poetry Competition is a kind of intellectual program that has been broadcasted since 2016. Our school followed this trend and held a Chinese poetry competition. It is a very meaningful program as from it students can people learn more about poety and appreciate the beauty of peotry. Moreover, from this competition we could find people who are very good at poetry aroud us.The competition is roughly divided into three rounds, the first round, the second round, and the final round which is highly. There is no any restriction when you enter the first round of competition. When we attend the first round of competition we need to pass a writing examination. Through the writing examination the teacher select  the top 48 students to enter the second round. The second round is a poetry chain. The candidate has to answer a poetry that has the same word in the starting as the first word in the ending of the poetry before. Finally in the last round, the examination is about gerneral knowledge in literature， questions to be answered quickly and poetry chain. During the competition students get more familiar with Chinese poetry and poetry help us to obtain knowledge of life from our forefathers.

    在这春和景明的好时节，我们迎来了人文组学术季。人文学科令无数学子为之流泪，其中不乏一群历史学子：他们在5分的边缘大鹏展翅，对于历史的热爱战胜了对于分数的恐惧！我们热爱历史，因为它的世界无比辽阔，我们在茫茫人海中寻找自己的影子；我们沉醉于历史，因为它是风云传奇，我们拨开先人身上的迷雾，为我们的历史而自豪。

  于是，人文学科历史组与七宝德怀特博古通今历史社合作发起了首届七德历史知识竞赛！！

In this mild Spring, activities from Humanities Department came. Countless students have wept for their Humanity courses-and so have the History students, who have struggled at their boundaries of 5. Their love for Histroy has defeated their fear of their scores! As a History student, we love histroy because of the vast expanse of world it presents-allowing us to discover ourselves; we become obsessed with History because of its identity as a legend, enabling us to seek for the mystery of our forefathers and being proud of our history.

Hence,  QD History Club and the History Department collaborated to organize this first QD History Competition!

IB course has brought us high pressure. As a student in QDHS, we also have to study our required Chinese courses including History, Geography, and Politics. We also have to pass the IGCSE exam. Do you feel stressed out under such huge pressure? Finally, let's listen to some advice from other students and see what we can improve ourselves!
