A Letter to EMW Parents
Dear Parents
亲爱的家长，
We have welcomed our Grade 9 students to campus this Monday and our teachers have immediately returned to delivering our EMW curriculum on campus. Our students have become accustomed to the new health protocols that have been initiated and we are looking forward to them acting as role models to whom our Grade 6-8 students can look up to when they are finally allowed to return.
本周一我们喜迎9年级学生返校，以及教职员工返岗，通过四个健康的教学日，融合学子完成了从居家远程学习到课堂面对面教学的过渡。我们的学生完全适应了在校期间的防疫要求。相信他们对于之后返校的6-8年级学生也会起到表率示范作用。
Please be reminded that Friday May1st to Tuesday May 5th is a government-mandated holiday for our whole community which means that Distance Learning will not occur on those days. Grade 8 will return to campus on Wednesday 6th May to have classes at campus whilst Distance Learning will continue as normal for Grades 6 and 7. We would respectfully ask that parents should plan to stay within the confines of the city so as to not affect their ongoing quarantine status for Shanghai. Grades 6 and 7 will return to campus on Monday 18th May.
同时也提醒您，5月1日周五到5月5日周二是国家规定的法定假日，因此这期间的线上课程暂停。8年级学生将在5月6日周三返校，恢复校园内正常学习，同时，6年级和7年级的线上课程继续。我们要求，家长们不要带孩子离开上海，以防影响他们的随申码状态。6年级和7年级学生将于5月18日周一返校。
We are also very proud to state that our school has been exemplary in meeting the guidelines of the Shanghai Education Bureau in creating a safe, healthy, and secure learning environment for all our students.
我们因学校能够为学生们创造一个安全、健康的学习环境而感到自豪。我们在安全健康的复学安排中，严格遵守上海市教育局的指导方针，在各部门各次各项检查检阅中广受好评，堪称闵行学校的楷模。

Reminders for Entrance into School
on May 6th for Grade 8 Students
8年级学生返校须知
1
Students must wear face masks at all times.
学生必须始终戴口罩。

Students will be encouraged to enter from the Main Gate.
请学生从正门进入学校。

Self-Temperature check at home before leaving for school. If your temperature is 37.3C, student should then seek medical attention .
上学前在家自我温度检查。如果体温高于 37.3 摄氏度，那么学生应该立即就医。

Temperature check at school main gate upon arriving at school (infrared camera).
到达学校后在学校正门进行温度检查（红外线测温仪）。

Temperature check during afternoon registration period.
下午点名时班级进行温度检查（体温枪）。

School day begins at 8:20 am and dismissal is at 15:40 pm.
上学时间为上午 8:20，放学时间为下午 3:40。

ECA and Assemblies will be cancelled till further notice.
直到进一步通知前，暂停所有社团课及校会。

After-school activities or clubs will be cancelled till further notice.
直到进一步通知前，暂停放学后俱乐部活动。

Lunch will be served in the student canteen from 13:00 am to 13:40 pm.
下午1:00 至1:40 食堂提供午餐。

Students will have assigned seating using name tags (physical/social distancing).
学生根据姓名标签分配的座位就坐食用午餐（保持身体、社交距离）。

Students will be served boxed lunches.
为学生提供盒装午餐。

Students will be highly encouraged to go for a walk outdoors after lunch before classes resume for the afternoon.
鼓励学生午餐后（下午上课前）到户外散步。

No student gathering in the Learning Center, or Hallways during lunch – must adhere to physical/social distancing.
午餐期间，学生不得在学习中心或走廊聚集，必须保持身体、社交距离。
