Dear parents, 

First of all, thank you very much for your support and understanding of the school's work during the epidemic. Because of that, we have been able to carry out the online courses in the primary school of the Mandarin Centre in an orderly manner and the children have made great progress during the online courses.

According to the regulations of Shanghai municipal government and Shanghai municipal education commission, students from grade 1 to three could return to school since 2^nd June. The online course will finally come to an end and the children also can finally return to the school. In order to welcome the children back to school, the school has done a lot of preparation work. Dear students, are you ready?

In order to disperse the people and prevent cross-infection during the epidemic period, the school will adopt the method of staggering peak. Therefore, our schedule will be adjusted as follows: 

1. The resident students will return to school at 9:00 am on 2^nd June. The head teachers will welcome the students at the school gate.

2. For day students, parents should send their children to the school gate at 8:00 every morning (in order to avoid cross-infection, parents should send their children to the school from 7:55 to 8:00), and the head teacher should greet the children at the school gate.

3. Parents are requested to pick up their children at the school gate on time at 3:50-3:55 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and 2:00-2:05 p.m. on Friday.

4. The timetable for day students who take the school bus remain the same.

5. The school will offer a free Raz-kids reading class for both day and boarding students from 3:40 p.m. to 4:20 p.m (Monday to Thursday).

Due to the serious attitude of the children, the learning effect has been very good. We will complete the course teaching in June according to the original teaching plan of each subject. The teaching weeks will start from 2^nd June to 19^th June. Revision will be arranged from 22^nd June to 24^th June before the final exam. 

In order to ensure the safety of the children, the school has made a very complete preparation for the epidemic, the specific arrangements are as follows:

1. The school gate is equipped with a thermal image screening device, and all the students shall have their body temperature checked. Once the teachers and students have suspected symptoms, the school will immediately let them wear surgical masks and arrange temporary isolation. Meanwhile, the school will immediately notify the students' parents, arrange the students to seek medical treatment in time and isolate themselves at home.

2. Each resident student will have their body temperature taken at school four times a day. Day students will have their body temperature taken twice at school and twice at home.

3. Every day, the school will ventilate the classrooms and dormitories, disinfect all surfaces and floors, and keep the environment clean.

4. The school bus is equipped with temperature measuring instrument, masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, vomit bag and clinic medical waste bags. The school bus is ventilated every day, and the vehicle will be disinfected immediately after each use. All staff and students are required to wear masks on the school bus. Those who have temperature higher than 37.3 degrees will not be allowed to get on the bus.

5. In principle, masks should not be worn in non-crowded areas such as outdoor sports grounds, where the distance between people is relatively large. At the same time, the school will provide spare masks for teachers and students to use in case of fever, cough or allergy in themselves or in the same class, dormitory and office. After returning to school, the relevant requirements will be adjusted according to the changes in the epidemic situation and the latest guidance.

Due to the particularity of the epidemic, we need parents to cooperate with the school to complete the following work:

1.Adjust your child's schedule

Accustomed to online classes, children's biological clocks may have been disrupted. We hope parents can adjust their children's schedules from now on, and we will wait for them to show up on campus full of spirit and energy.

2. Prepare a personal health protective package for children in advance, including: 2 masks per day, hand sanitizer; Paper wipes, etc.

3. Parents are requested to take the child's temperature every day after getting up. If your child have a temperature higher than 37.3℃，please do not send your child to school and notify the head teacher immediately.

4.Complete the online epidemic prevention statistical table every day.

5.Teach children to cooperate with school teachers in morning inspection and whole-day health inspection, wear masks when necessary, keep a social distance, know the etiquette of coughing and sneezing, tell teachers immediately when they feel uncomfortable in school, and obey the unified arrangement of the school. 

6.When pick up their children from school, do not stay at the school gate. Leave school in time to avoid dense crowds. Parents should wear masks when picking up their children. Without special circumstances, during the epidemic prevention and control period, parents are not allowed to enter the school without permission.

7.Keep the phone on. If the school finds that the student is in abnormal health condition, we will contact the parents in time.

8.Management of going out for medical treatment. For students who are absent because of illness, they should not return to school until they are cured (for special condition such as fever, students should return after 48 hours. In case of diarrhea and vomiting, students should wait for 72 hours after symptoms disappear). For infectious diseases, students should satisfy the isolation period after curing and show a valid medical certificate to the head teacher. After confirmed by the clinic, students could return to school.
