我在诺德安达的一天 | One Day in NAS Nantong

Hello everyone! I am a G1 student in NAS Nantong. My name is Nuo. Today let me guide you to have a look at our school life.

At 8 o 'clock, our teacher Elena will check if we are all in class. And during this special time, the teacher will also check our body temperature. If it's Monday, there will be a flag-raising ceremony and principals will give a speech at that time.I hope when I get to G8, I'll be a flag-bearer, too, because it's so cool to carry the flag.

The first class is teacher Elena's Chinese class. It's my favorite subject. Class begins with the teacher words "spring ding dong ring". All my classmates sit upright, waiting for the teacher's question. Yesterday we learned the tang dynasty poetry, I altogether answered 3 questions, my good friend DE also spoke 3 times. Everyone in class is very enthusiastic, we like to speak out our opinions. I like reading the text, sometimes the teacher will name the students to read with her, sometimes the teacher ask us play roles to read the text, and sometimes we read together. After class, we often discuss which way can be used to read better and more emotionally. I like reading together best, because when we read together, everyone stands up and reads louder and more orderly. But De prefers to play roles, which he finds more interesting.

The second class is Mr Joakim's STEAM class.I always look forward to the STEAM course, because every time there is a new surprise, and I expect that there will be something new waiting for us to try in this course. Mr. Joakim always encourage us to discuss in groups and give full play to everyone's strengths. He gives us the rights to choose our project leader according to different topics. The design theme last week was "home for animals". The project leader chosen by our team is An. He loves small animals and dreams of becoming a zoologist, so we all think he is suitable. Ann successfully led us to win the design competition. I will apply for the position of project leader.

It will be our snack time, I really feel a bit hungry after two classes. Our teacher will give us apple, yogurt and other snacks, so that we have the energy to challenge the new two classes.

你们看，这是我自己做的课表。手工课的时候，老师带着我们亲手制作了自己的课表，我喜欢我做的课表，我觉得它很漂亮，而且有了它，我就再也不用问老师下一节课是什么课了。

下一节课是Jason老师的音乐课，在他的音乐课上，我们学了一首用元音字母a、e、i、o、u组成的歌。我们跟着Jason老师一边做动作一边唱歌，在学习音乐的同时还复习了英语知识，大家都很开心。我放学以后一定要把这首歌唱给爸爸妈妈听，让他们跟我一起做动作，这样就能记住了。

到了最开心的午餐时间啦！我们的午餐特别丰盛，有蔬菜、肉、好喝的汤，还有水果和酸奶呢。今天的午餐有我最喜欢的桃子，我已经等不及啦。老师说这是为了帮助我们健健康康的长大，所以才营养齐全呢。午餐后我们有半个小时的课外休息时间，可以消化中午吃的饭，还能跟我的同学们一起玩一会，调整自己的学习状态，迎接下午的课程。

Sometimes the teacher asked us to vote for the story to be heard next week. For example, this week, many students chose the story of "the shark showed its teeth", so Vicky told us the story. Although everyone's guess about the ending is not exactly the same, I think everyone's guess is very reasonable.Through the communication with my classmates, I found that there are many possibilities for this story, not only the one written by the author, but also that everyone can freely express their own opinions.

And the science class is also very interesting, everyone can be a little scientist. Miss Nina asked us to tell the difference between "plain water, sugar water, vinegar and milk".We first separated the milk, because it was different in color, and then separated the vinegar, the sugar water and the boiled water by smelling and tasting.I think I should learn this spirit of observation and analysis so that I can solve many problems.

There are so many things I'd like to introduce to you but I can't finish them in one time. But I know, I like our school, I like our courses, I like our teachers. Although our STEAM, Science, Music and lots of other courses are taught in English, we need time to understand. But fortunately, the teachers are very patient and lectures are very interesting, and our teaching assistant always accompany us in every class, she will help us when we have difficulties.
