Through the name of our school, you can know our mission. 

Nuo-Honesty, the ancient Chinese story, “Jibu’s Promise is More Valuable Than Gold”, was a popular novel in ancient China and we empower our students to have the ideal of “keeping promises”. De-Integrity, we hope our students not only make great achievements for the future, but also have noble virtue. An-Serenity, in the information explosion age, we expect that our students can get rid of distractions, grow up to have great ideas with a quiet state of mind, so as to achieve more. Da-Fortitude, by helping others and working as part of a team, students can find more about themselves. This team-spirit is a keystone of “Fortitude”. We hope every student at NACIS Shanghai can know the connotation and significance of the four characters.  

We expect our students can master the Chinese culture and the world language, have good personality and excellent character, broaden international horizons, and master skills that will benefit a lifetime.

在上海闵行区诺德安达双语学校，教师储备也是我们长久以来不断关注的问题之一。2020新学年的招聘计划，也早在2019年就拉开了序幕。据不完全统计，自2016年创校以来，每个教师职位都可以收到将近40 份申请，我们会从中择优录用适合的教师。目前就职于上海闵行区诺德安达双语学校的中外籍教师中，超过四分之一的教师已获得硕士学位。除此之外，目前我们还拥有35%的教师已经拥有超过十年以上的教育经历。

与此同时，学校每年都有在职教师赴伦敦国王学院、及麻省理工学院参加专业培训，交流授课经验，提高专业水平，与集团全球 13500 名教师一起，共同促进孩子的成长与进步。

We believe that only outstanding teachers can bring high-quality teaching to students.

At NACIS Shanghai, teacher reserve is one of the issues we have been paying attention to for a long time. The recruitment plan for the new academic year of 2020 begins as early as 2019. According to incomplete statistics, we have received nearly 40 applications for each teaching position since the school was founded in 2016. More than a quarter of the Chinese and foreign teachers at NACIS Shanghai have master's degrees. In addition, we now have 35 percent of teachers with more than 10 years of teaching experience.

Our teachers also have the opportunity to participate in professional training in king's college London and the MIT where they can exchange teaching experience, improve professional standards, and promote the growth and progress of students with the group's 13,500 teachers around the world.

At NACIS Shanghai, our classrooms comfortably cater for our maximum classroom size of 24 students. Our capacious and well-appointed classrooms enable our teachers and students develop colorful activities. We have been committed to the personalized teaching, and each class has both a national and international form tutors who provide the high-quality bilingual curriculum for our students through collaborative teaching.

Chinese culture is profound. As a bilingual school, we are committed to the deep cultivation of mother tongue culture, so we develop the school-based curriculum to enable our students to know "who I am" first.

On this basis, we offer global opportunities for our students to help them improve international vision. 上海诺德安达双语学校为学生设置了多姿多彩的课外活动。学校开展的课外活动涵盖四个领域，包括文化、学术、运动和表演艺术等近150种丰富的活动，以满足不同学生的兴趣爱好和优势特长。

同时，学校还与在各个领域有着丰富教学经验的外部机构携手，提供更多不同主题的课外活动帮助孩子们更加深入地探索各个领域、开启见识广阔天地的窗口。孩子们可以根据自己的兴趣爱好选择每周2项的课外活动。

此外，他们也能在每年举办的艺术节中，参加戏剧、音乐、舞蹈类的彩排和汇演，自信地在舞台上展现阶段性的学习成果，或是在幕后付出努力，相信这些都能使得孩子的自信心、创造力、组织能力和社交能力得到进一步的提升。

NACIS Shanghai offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students, which cover four areas, including nearly 150 activities in culture, academia, sports and performing arts, to meet the interests and strengths of different students. We are also working with external ECA organizations with rich teaching experience in various fields to provide more extracurricular activities which can help students explore various fields more deeply and broaden their horizons. Students can choose two extracurricular activities per week based on their interests.

In addition, they can also participate in the annual arts festival, and drama, music and dance rehearsal and performance to show their learning outcomes on the stage, or make efforts behind the scenes. We believe that all of these can improve their self-confidence, creativity, organization ability and social skills to get further improvement.

我校将严格遵循由上海市教委公布的《2020年本市义务教务阶段学校招生入学工作的实施意见》的文件要求，其中规定民办学校招生纳入审批地统一管理，与公办学校同步招生；对报名人数超过招生计划的，由各区组织实施电脑随机录取。

Our school will strictly comply with the requirements of "opinions on the implementation of school enrollment in the compulsory education stage, 2020" published by Shanghai municipal education commission, which stipulates that the enrollment of private schools shall be included in the unified management of the examination and approval place, and shall be synchronized with the enrollment of public schools. If the number of applicants exceeds the enrollment plan, the districts shall organize and implement computer random enrollment. Please keep an eye on the general rules of our school and complete the registration process according to the guidelines.

我校接收2020年9月入学的小学二至五年级、初中七至九年级的转学插班生申请，如果有需要申请这些学段的家庭，请尽快登陆我们的官网递交入学申请表。

Our school will accept the application of transfer students from grade 2 to grade 5 in primary and grade 7 to grade 9 in Secondary in September, 2020. If you need to apply, please log on our website and submit the application form as soon as possible.
