We Have Lots of Students to Congratulate! | 协和虹桥校区多名学生喜获表彰

We had a record number of people running for house captains this year. We were very impressed with the speeches and would like to say well done to everyone who presented. Mr Riley is  delighted to announce the following students:

今年的各学院学生代表候选人数已打破往年记录，创下建校以来的新高度。学生们的演讲让人印象深刻，每位参与学生的表现都棒极了！Mr Riley老师很高兴在此宣布本学年的各学院学生代表名单：

SUIS Hongqiao hosted the first Grade 5 boy’s football tournament of the year on Saturday, September 24th. SUIS entered two teams and enjoyed an excellent day of the football. Our ‘A’ team were narrowly beaten 1-0 in the final by Star RiverPrimary school, with the ‘B’ team winning two of their four games. Both teams did the SUIS colours proud and will be very keen to build on their excellent performances. A special mention to Alvin for scoring a hat-trick! Mr. Ciaranand Mr. Virdee have been very impressed with their attitude and effort so far.Well done, boys!

协和虹桥校区于2016年9月24日举办了本年度的首场五年级男子足球锦标赛。协和共有两支球队入选此次比赛，全体队员们在球场上尽情享受了比赛带来的运动乐趣。校队A队在决赛环节以 1-0的比分惜败上海星河湾学校代表队，获得了亚军。B队在四场比赛中获得两场胜利。我们为全体队员的精彩表现深感自豪，他们将在此基础上再接再厉，争取再创佳绩。尤其值得一提的是我校队员Alvin上演了精彩绝伦的“帽子戏法”！校队教练Mr. Ciaran和Mr. Virdee为孩子们的积极态度和坚韧付出感到骄傲。你们真棒！

The SUIS Hongqiao Girls' U11 Grade 5 Football Team came in second place in a tournament Saturday 24 September, at Soong Ching Ling School. Besides winning medals, the MVP trophy was awarded to Tung Tung for her outstanding contributions as goal keeper. The coaches were pleased with the efforts and progress of both teams, and were thankful so many parents came to cheer for the school.

协和虹桥女子11岁以下组五年级足球队在9月24日上海宋庆龄学校举行的足球锦标赛中获得亚军！除了奖牌外，最佳球员奖颁发给了我校队员Tung Tung同学，以表彰其作为校队守门员的优秀表现。校队教练们对男子及女子足球校队的努力和进步都很满意，非常感谢家长们来到比赛现场为孩子们一起加油助威！

The Student Council which is run by Ms Nicole saw lots of students taking the opportunity to run for the different positions. All of the students dedicated lots of time and effort into their speeches and presentations. It was very hard to choose! However the voting was given to the rest of the students in the school and the results are as follows:
